You still can't explain why Paktiawals and their Mashars joined up with Pacha Khan to evict the Taliban. I mean Pacha Khan is low life, but something must be wrong with the Taliban if Paktawal would be willing to do that. Your argument that Taliban were toppled by NATO in itself defeats your argument, because it means that Taliban were only able to impose themselves on Paktia by force.

        you're just in denial.
where was pacha khan before NATO? why werent the common paktiawals bringing him in before NATO came into the picture. Like I said take away nato form the equation and pacha khan would disappear with them by the common people.

Let's flip the question around why were the taliban only evicted ..after NATO militarily disabled them. This isnt a defense of Pacha Khan, this is using an evidence that paktiwawals themselves saw Pacha Khan as a way out.

how do you explain Paktiawals evicting them from their midst?

your question is answered by the answer of my question, that's why I said let's flip the question around; because looking at it from a different angle answers the question. You're not Resistance's boyfriend, he can handle himself .....so explain to me why the Taliban were evicted by Paktiawals when they were no longer militarily capable?

that's cute but doesn't explain how somehow Taiban are unsophisticated in keeping to moral guidelines; but can fly off to different countries to be wined and dined by corporate executives.

Let us not forget these immoral Americans used to shower all sorts of titles on a gullible Pakistan like "Coalition partner", " Front-line state", etc before pouncing on them.

                      An open question:
Did anybody visit the capital of Taliban(Kandahar)from 1996-2001? It seems like we have many "experts" here, but how many of you have witnessed things from your own eyes?
well it was real quiet , one could go outside when ever you wanted , no fear for nothing . i would not do the samething today .

and it was hard so see someone with weapons , in the bazar i saw just 2 times , a talib with two backups , swinging a leash and letting he is bad mood ,on randomly bywalking people out .

if you had no beard , container .

if you had long hair , container .

if you didnt pray whipes .

no tv , no radio , no entertainment aka jashem , people just did it hidden if they were sure no one could hear it .

it was hard to get medical treatment , there was a lack of everything , one could not get any medicine , most had go to quetta or it was very very expensive and still paki trash .

women all wearing chadari , some begged , some were selling stuff on the street in the bazar . jobs ??? none to not existing , i wonderd how people survived , especially those who had no land or a garden . money was carried in bundles

the buildings , standing there , were quiet old , but also many ruins , there was no reconstruction or anything or even plans for it .

the only thing they build was an bizzar and ugly build mosque somewhere outside the city , and the funny maison of mullah omar , where people told that the roof of its house , had a special ruber layer , and every bomb would be bounce of it would hit the building .lol

the term school was not existing , it was called madrassa , they also tought some basic math and physics , but also only if the malim himself knew something about it and cared , some did , others not . of course reading and writing .
and alot of wahabi style teaching of fiqh and hadiths .

water supply , hard to find , you had your own well , or you were screwed .

the overall situation was quiet depressing , you could not do anything , business wise or any other kind of

kabull was 1999 just a moonlandscape , everything destroyed , people who have seen it sometimes ago didnt recognized it .there were near to none buildings leftover , which were not ruins .

at the end , talibs didnt cared about all this , not all . they didnt sent out any parols ,like in some totalitarian state , were they atleast claimed they will change something or something would happen .

and i guess its obvious that no one dared to question the decisions of amir sahib or his fellow talibs .

i dont think most of the people who are praising them so loud , would like to live there , and i can gurantee you that most of those people , who are now outside the county ,would also stay outside .

i have really hard to try to remember somebody who moved back permanently during their rule .

most of those who are praising them , are just kids , who need some one to orientate , because they are also hurt by all what is happening , and then talibs seems to them like heros , because they are fighting the invaders .

khostia has admitted that he has never been to afghanistan. He is so incompetent that he is not aware of his own tribes dialect. I was there and the majority of my cousins did not have beards and some did not pray at the mosque, they prayed at home. There was rampant murders in our village when the warlords were in control. When the Taliban came, there was one murder where a man killed his nephew and three Talban came, grabbed the man, had a trial, and executed him. That was the last murder in our village till this day. Murders in neighboring villages also stopped or was drastically reduced after them. Murders and other crimes have increased after NATO brought back the warlords. Warlords dont care about the common man or justice, they just care about making profit.

during the period of Taliban rule(1996-2001), Khost was strongly pro-Taliban
