The reason why Pakistan support for the NATO war was bound to be a mess was because the NATO war was primarily focused in Pashtun areas.

If you recall, it was Mushrraf who at the requested of the West, started a war in 2004 in FATA. After this point, an insurgency developed against the Pakistani state. He did this operation because FATA was termed a safe haven that was causing NATO failure in Afghanistan.

Well...even a kid cant deny that pashtuns genocide is on top...esp by US zionists etc. Some paki sheep like MQM,PPP are also playing their parts for US dollars. Why those 49 nations are here? Its no coincidence....they know the prophecies....of the leadership that ll be given to al mehdi and pashtuns....pashtuns ll rise once again. If you dont believe me....just wait and watch...next they ll drive pashtuns from arab countries.Just a matter of time.

and lol @ the ANP supporting the war during Musharraf's era! Again, your understanding and knowledge of local politics fail.

And what does any of this have to do with Communism?

Read a couple of books, kiddo. You're heavily brainwashed and misinformed.
Talk facts. If you are unable to, cut the circus show out man...

did Kayani tell Imran to insult the entire Pak Army on the Assange interview? So Army boy Imran Khan gets to rip on the Pak Army whenever he wants right? Some understanding with Kayani? LOL @ retardation..

ANP was hand in hand, dancing with Musharraf for NATO war to continue. They with the PPP gov/Army as well as PMAP are the biggest cheerleaders for NATO war and Pakistan support for it, even today. A simple undisputed fact. Interference, ANP/PMAP loves Pakistan interference in Afghanistan when its via NATO supplies/drone attacks/FATA war. Supporting Pashtun bloodshed, and then calling themselves Pashtun "nationalists." Joke of the century.

Banana Republic or no Banana Republic, Pakistan was the nation that let the US use its airspace for the war in Afghanistan, and ground routes. the use of Saudi Arabias airbases even depended on Pak airspace, and not any other country. Buddy this is a fact, its not up for debate LOL

NATO war was not possible without Pakistan support.

What is your opinion though on ANP straying from Ghaffar Khan's original message?

What I mean is; I highly doubt their sincerity above typical party politics and here is why LZ; It boils down to:

Why doesnt the KPK government just say to Islamabad:
"Hey a-ss handlers - quit bombing our people - (and if they want to mix it with their message even of the conspiratorial ideology that Afghan Taliban are all Panjabis in disguise with Arab genies) - quit getting us involved in conflicts that address your goals."

"Effective midnight tonight - KPK government will secede. We are willing to risk our necks for this. If you, Pakistan do not stop your chicanery and oppression of the Pashtun peoples by ALL means - and if you do not halt inteference in the affairs of our people - this government effectively declares secession of KPK by any means necessary."

And I dont want to hear any excuses about - well we have to work within a peaceful framework etc etc.

Otherwise, they then have the same crypto charge that they level at the ikhwan and Muslim Brotherhood (i.e. silence is OK for now until strength builds up).

Lol, Bharati, lots of people support Taliban here, maybe not specifically their ideology but their footsoldiers, as 90% of them are Pashtuns fighting foreign soldiers.

My last say on it will be:

I support the autonomy of the rural people world round against their being used and abused and their will and sacrifices for their respective nations being subverted in the name of progress and modernity. Such subversion only produces reactionaryism and limits progress and the evolution of human rights.

To me whether its a rural representative group called the Admin Khan Army or whether its ANP or whoever it is; I long for people to give the masses their due respect so that peace and autonomy result in progress.

I depart and turn my back to Marxism's tenants that there is a bourgeosie and that they differ from the peasant class. Upward mobility and competition and meritocracy show me that this distinction is really nonsense. Instead it truly is not even a 1% but rather a .05% of people I refer to as the elites who play games with the respective people in the nations of the world.

These elites have the goal of sustaining hegemony, sustaining their benefits and power, and utilizing the masses for the war industry.

We must avoid accepting Marxist philosophies that pit the accomplished and meritorious or the upper class against the lower class. This is because even many middle upper class and wealthy people are simply being taken for a ride by the elites and do not know it.

People like Julian Assange amongst others has demasked and depanted the elites and various groups have challenged their hegemony.

lynx, did your country, america, threaten to 'bomb pakistan back to the stone age', or not? i have read on a number of occassions, that they did.

'bombing pakistan back to the stoneage' by eric margolis, is one article that mentions the other threats also given to pakistan, within days of 9/11 attacks. www.lewrockwell.com

an article on www.historycommons.org entitled :us invasion, occupation of afghanistan. has day to day record of events that talks of u.s. making deals with and meeting with russia to assist in organising access to bases in 2 of the 'stans,' for their early days in this latest war in afghanistan.

                      • To somewhat paraphrase Imran Khan, those moments require leadership more than ever.

Musharraf had none, and sold a war.

Nations threaten nations all the time. This is the way the world is unfortunately.

Iran threatens Israel. Israel threatens Iran. What does it mean?

Along the logic of being warned/threatened, every nation should collapse.
