Well said toramana, i'm 80% sure that Haviz is an indic ( a punjabi maybe )
He speaks a good urdu and a very good punjabi but don't speak pashto
      That's strange

        lol.

Toramana my dear fellow. What you don't understand is that you are an ugly black sheep amongst beautiful Pashtuns of Pakhtunkhwa and a total racist. I had decided to say bye-bye for the night and just saw your entertaining post and just had to reply.

Most people don't care about what race the other belongs to in Pakistan. People are slowly abandoning thoughts of racism... to think of themselves as one unit. Racial pride will remain perhaps but hatred will disappear.

You should be proud that a weak Pashtun or one with suspect family links to Pashtuns has adopted a culture he thinks of as his own. lol. But as I said Pashtuns have never focused on the right issues.

I truly feel pity on you. In all of Pakistan you see Punjabis adopting Pashtun culture, Sindhis developing an understanding of Baloch culture, Balochs taking interest in Urdu culture. We are flowers one tree and out of love for the other races people adopt their ways

You however remain the typical racist you are who the Afghan plans to brush right under the carpet when he's done with using you. Think about yourself. Where will you be? Theres no place for you other than as a puppet of the Afghan. Not even that.

I'll tell you a story a friend just told me during an interview for an article I am about to write (which will debunk the Pashtunistan/Greater Afghanistan theory)

His family grandfather a Khan from the Orakzai tribe went to receive help from the Afghans to fight against the British in around 1920's. You know what they did? They did not give him shelter, they did not give him food when he reached Kabul. They treated him like the rubbish they see lar Pashtuns as.

For them you are a dal-khor, british slave and Pangchuk no matter what you do.

Think what they will do to you when they did this to other lar Pashtuns. You are a child trying to lead Pakistani Pashtuns into something which will hurt their prospects of advancing in Pakistan.

They are egging you on and you are continuing without thinking slamming your feet on the graves of our ancestors like Abdur Rab Nishtar, Karnal Sher Khan and Lalak Jan.

You are truly a joker who lives on conspiracy theories. Arooj is a upright Pashtun girl who knows who she is not an "impressionist young lady"... plus I have a rule that I never accept anyone else's work and pass it off as my own even if it is just for editting... ask Arooj about that. Whatever I will say in Pashto will be my own words or what I am capable of saying.

And whatever Pashto I learned was through my own struggle even though the one who was supposed to teach was not a certified Pashto teacher... he apparently "forgot" to teach me Pashto. You don't know what efforts I have undertaken to adopt Pashtun culture but to an enemy of Pashtuns like you I can never be a Pashtun.

But I am sorry, I was attracted by the Nationalism of the Pashtun towards his country and the Pashtuns will to never combat racism with racism no matter how badly he was bullied by other races... I admit I did not even consider myself a Pashtun at first but the love of my Pashtun brothers and the support they have offered is overwhelming. You are who you choose to be and I choose to be a Pashtun.

I can never really explain it... but there is some sort of entertainment in answering your posts. I swear I am laughing here.

I really can write software that can act just like you. You do realize that you are arguing with Pashtuns of Pashtunkhwa right? . Pashto speakers, from Pashtunkhwa province, are debunking your nonsense and your algorithm is to label them an Afghan, something they already are. I have exposed your agenda, which is to create distance between the label Pashtun and Afghan. But once again Havi, it's like telling a British person that his spelling of color, as colour, is wrong. It means the same exact thing. Pashtun and Afghan are interchangeably used, even by your Pakistani government. Had you even researched the basics, and if you are a Pashtun who have visited Pakistan, you would've known this, along with the fact that the "A" in Pakistan means Afghan, and a proposed name for Pashtunkhwa was Afghania. It's ignorant, and silly to even attempt to create a distance between the two words.

The joke is on you my friend; words can't explain the smile you put on my face everytime I read your posts. I simply just can't take you serious anymore, it's like a hired comedian. Keep it up. And please invite your friends to join, I'm sure that would increase the fun level.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Don't lie. I have never spoken Punjabi... except I copied pasted from somewhere to make fun of damalakandghar and his posts calling everyone Ranjit Singh. lol

            This was the post.
Ranjit Singh: sta sa problem de? Vekh mainu Pashto vich gal vi andi ai
            DaMalakandghar: Za stane gila maniam.
Ranjit Singh: Oye ki gal ai. Ice cream mangta ai?

Replace Damalakandghar with Toramana and you have the same angry frustrated little child making wild suggestions.

Otherwise no where on the forum have I ever spoken Punjabi or have claimed I can speak Punjabi though like all people who understand Urdu (even though my speaking power is weak) I can understand most of what is being said in Punjabi.

Za Kolaye she che Pakhto khabara. Talo Pakhto razi?

Hahah. Answer that. How did I actually assume there would actually be a dispute within Pakistan and Indians wouldn't be charging at the side of the Toramana's and Damalakandghars with a battle axe and blood smeared on their face.

What remains unexplained is why if Afghan=Pashtun... only Pashtun then the Hazaras Tajiks and Uzbeks are dominating everything in Afghanistan from government to the military. Isn't only Pashtun supposed to mean Afghan and if this is so then an Afghan is also Tajik, Hazara and Uzbek. Isn't the lar Pashtun being cheated with this term. lol.

If you explain why this is so to me from today I will only refer to Pashtuns as Afghans. Nothing more nothing less.

Its a very good blackmailing policy to pull up the term Pashtun is equal to Afghan every time even though Afghans themselves have accepted the divisions between lar and bar, including but not limited to your Tajik Uzbek and Hazara brothers who happen to be "Afghans"

                      • haviZ,

You are right there are a few trolls that go out of their way to insult Pakistanis. The constant reference to Indics in an insulting and degrading matter is not only offending to those who are being mocked with such remarks but also to the Hindu and Sikh members on PF. Indics have superb culture and history, and today compared to "nobody" Pashtun/Afghan they are a powerhouse.

What have we, the super pure mighty Aryan, Jew, or children of Qais or Khalid bin Walid accomplished? Heck even compared to the Pakistanis, what do we have to show that we mock those with at least a nation, currency, government, army, air force, tanks and nukes? We the mighty sons of mighty forefathers with purest of blood are an international dump yard where everyone comes to leave a big nasty smelly load.

Deny it all you want but its a fact. Blame who ever, still doesn't change.

Yet, on the other hand insulting Pakistanis with such terms is nothing short of poetic justice one would think, since Pakistanis think no better of Indics or Indians even though majority of their blood is the same blood running through Indians and Hindus viens, their culture is the same culture to a very large extent. They are the same people with shared history. Adding some Arabic or Farsi words to Hindi doesn't take away from that fact. Claiming to be a Pashtun on a forum doesn't change it. If you weren't ashamed of who you are then why hide it?

Firstly, almost every president of Afghanistan has been a Pashtun, and even today Pashto is the official language and the national language along with the anthem being in Pashto. In fact, most of the ministers are Pashtun. Do some research, with regards to military; even that's changing. If you think Hazaras are dominated the government, clearly you live in a completely different planet. Also, let's agree for the sake of the agreement that no Pashtun is in the government, and that even the president is a Hazara, what does that have to do with Pashtun not being Afghan? Afghan is also a nationality, the same way there are ethnic Russians, and Russian nationals. A Pashtun is always an Afghan, this is historically and even presently true. In fact, even the Banana republic recognizes this as a fact. From Pashtunkhwa being known as Afghania, to even today revenue records and other identification methods have the label "Afghan" for Pashtuns to tick mark, because of who Pashtuns are!

Isn't only Pashtun supposed to mean Afghan and if this is so then an Afghan is also Tajik, Hazara and Uzbek. Isn't the lar Pashtun being cheated with this term. lol.
You my friend are an amazing creature. God bless you, we have the next Russel Peters here. My friend, if we apply your silly, ridiculous logic then there is no such thing as a German, since Turks that were born in Germany also consider themselves as German nationals. Afghans, for Pashtuns, is the name of our ethnicity. Hazaras, and other that were born in Afghanistan are Afghan nationals. If a Sudanese is born in Kandahar, he is an Afghan national. That doesn't mean is a Pashtun(Afghan). This is not rocket science.

If you explain why this is so to me from today I will only refer to Pashtuns as Afghans. Nothing more nothing less.
Explained. So now live up to your promise, and don't pull a Pakistani politician move. Historically, currently, Afghan = Pashtun. If you have any relatives in Pakistan, that are Pashtun, ask them what's in their domicle. Also, don't disown them or Pakistan for knowing about history and facts(that is Pashtun=Afghan).

Its a very good blackmailing policy to pull up the term Pashtun is equal to Afghan every time even though Afghans themselves have accepted the divisions, including but not limited to your Tajik Uzbek and Hazara brothers who happen to be "Afghans"
                          Lmao

Stating facts is now blackmailing. Tajiks, Uzbeks, and others are proud Afghan nationals, residing in a nation dominated by ethnic Afghans(Pashtuns).

Now hopefully you know what ANP, and other Pashtun parties in Pakistan mean, along with your government, when they say Lar aw bar yaw Afghan. I'm sure you probably recently found out that Afghania was a proposed name for Pakistan, and that you, yourself, put the A in Pakistan which stands for Afghan. Look it up, rather than wasting your time regurgitating sheer nonsense.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

I agree some Hazaras, Tajiks distance themselves from the term Afghan, since it means Pashtun by ethnicity, but that's a political opinion. Ground realities are different i.e a national of Afghanistan is known as an Afghan. It's similar to the Russian, German example.

Calling someone a wanna be is not cool. I personally view him as an Afghan brother, if you want my honest opinion. Some of us are misled, some of us are geniuses, etc, etc. Just because someone doesn't agree with me or you, or can't speak Pashto, doesn't mean they are not a Pashtun. The fact that he is here discussing this with me, which is a process of education IMO along with learning Pashto is highly commendable.

Manzareh this is my last reply and then i am going to scoot. I am acting like some client services guy who's job is to sit on the computer and reply to people on the internet all day long. The computer is going to do this to me if I sit any longer

Pashtuns can achieve much more. Pashtuns are people whose history and culture is unmatched. No one has as rich a history as the Pashtuns, no one can claim their culture.

Pashtuns are a race whose potential is unmatched. There is no reason that Pashtuns cannot achieve what the others achieved... but for this old cultural norms need to break down... women need to be sent to school. Look at Ireland man... those guys were burning women as witches at a stake up till the 19th century man. Modern times require change. You can't keep your woman at home, you can't refuse your child modern education even if its western and you have to give your kids those damn polio drops because if they don't get them they may grow up crippled for life.

Personally I want to see a strong Afghanistan. But since I came on the forum I am just a little worried with the attitudes of some people so don't know what to hope for. As far as the term Pashtun=Afghan is concerned will have no problem with it if it is not used as a tool to blackmail lar Pashtuns and if its meaning is not taken as Pashtun cannot equal Pakistani or there is nothing such as Pakistani Pashtun.

Manzareh you seem like a nice person. I may share what I shared with Faye and Arooj so keep your inbox ready.

As far as Pakistani attitudes are concerned towards indics they need to change. Our education system needs an overhaul and we need to stop being taught hatred for the Hindus and their culture. Its totally wrong. I have written about this in a piece for a religious magazine. However I do think Indic is too broad a term to classify the 400+ races in the Indian subcontinent.
