this is what you do khushal. you put up cases like this and expect us to accept them. but if someone puts up cases about he taliban 'behaving badly' it is pooh poohed and considered propaganda and proof is called for.
so how is it that your accounts are truth but others accounts are not truth?

btw, was this al qaeda dude they just killed, one of the 'locals'?

just because some taliban are the locals, doesn't mean they are not hiding amongst the locals, if they have returned from afanistan where they have been fighting the invaders.
there have been many reports that the talibs on the pakistan side, are oppressing the 'locals'. i guess those reports must all be propaganda, khushal.

Khushal exhibits something called Confirmation Bias

Confirmation bias is a type of cognitive bias and represents an error of inductive inference toward confirmation of the hypothesis under study.
Confirmation bias is a phenomenon wherein decision makers have been shown to actively seek out and assign more weight to evidence that confirms their hypothesis, and ignore or underweigh evidence that could disconfirm their hypothesis.
As such, it can be thought of as a form of selection bias in collecting evidence.
For more information about the topic Confirmation bias, read the full article at Wikipedia.org, or see the following related articles:
Khushal almost can't help what he does; he's indoctrinated and act almost out of thoughtless impulse.

I often deliberately provoke various individuals on this forum , which apparently Khushal is one to demonstrate the irrationalities that persist in the Pashtun psychology. It's actually important so that reformists understand how to counterbalance these individuals and expose them publicly to show the lack of merit their claims have.

          this what you mean?

Not exactly, I mean you got the one eye, half brain part right; but what I mean is that Khushal' out of his indoctrination makes a knee jerk rejection of ANYTHING that doesn't confirm his own preset views.

It is you who is irrational and think that commentaries with no evidence to back up those commentaries as fact. It is you who use confirmation bias and think that when the taliban claim to control helmand that every armed thug is a talib and that when some joe smhoe talib makes a commentary that the russians support them, you regard it as fact. These are just commentaries with no evidence to back up those claims which is comfirmation bias.

The pashtun psychology recognizes independent thought.

the AQ dude was not a local and according to most experts neither are the other 99 AQ dudes, but then again neither are the 160,000+ NATO troops or the 200,000+ foreign contractors either.

                        • Faye, honestly you're one of the most sane members of this forum, it's pathetic to see people who call themselves Pashtun being outwitted by not only a woman but a Farangi Woman. My hats off to you.

he is upset because he is caught out, once again, with information he doesn't recognise.
khushal, did you not see the 4corners documenary by the afghan /australian journalist, najibullah quraishi?
                            "following bin laden"
the first one he made was, 'behind enemy lines"

Khushal's very predictable response will be "oh it's all staged, they're all actors".
