There are many problems that we have to resolve. Our own peoples lack of loyalty to their own country just can't be understood in anyway.Originally posted by randolph85 View Posti understand the idea of pakistan, but history has shown that this experiment of combining various societies into one state ruled by dictators and/or democratically elected leaders but held together by brutal intelligence and defense forces has failed.
why is it that this state supposedly based on islam has so many ethnic groups that want to break away from this state? even in afghanistan there are no movements by minorities to break away from afghanistan and no one will even dare say such a thing in public, a state that was not even created on the basis of islam like pakistan was?
pakistan, like israel, is obviously not going anywhere so lets not pretend that it will. but it would serve the people well and especially the nationalists, to ponder the horrible state that the country is in. the poor economy, the inequality between provinces, the government behind the government, and the ethnic tensions. once you get your house in order, you can talk all the **** you want about afghans and afghanistan.
most importantly stop talking about pakistan like its the best thing since fkin sliced bread. boasting about nukes while being on welfare by the chinese, americans, and saudis is like a bum wearing a rolex.
if you try to "steal" the identity of pashtuns and pretend like its not tied to the title "afghan" or the nation of afghanistan itself, you are just fooling yourselves.
Even I wonder sometimes just why there is so much hatred for Pakistan among Pakistanis themselves. In Afghanistan despite constant bloodshed, destruction and killing between the various races no one is demanding independence. We have no honor as a Nation.
However no one is trying to steal the identity of Pashtuns. That identity belongs to Pakistani Pashtuns too which Afghans aren't willing to share with them. Just because they are Pakistani you deny them that identity. If that identity belongs to Pashtuns then it belongs to Pakistan as well as every races history is Pakistans history too.
This was one of my earlier posts on the topic.
Either way both Afghanistan and Pakistan need to deal with their problems. Insulting us and our leaders will get the Afghans no where.
Pakistan is not an ethnic identity nor is it a country based on ONE ethnic group. It is a country created out of a number of ethnic groups. Those who claim Pakistan is without history don't understand that Pakistan's history is not of "Pakistan" in the traditional sense. Instead it is of all the ethnic groups within the country, the same as is the case with India.
This truly gives us a diverse history and diverse traditions much wider than the history Afghans can ever have.
Many Pakistani Nationalists do not take pride in these diverse traditions believing they come in the way of Nationalism which is a mistake. A proud Pashtun can always be a proud Pakistani as can any other ethnic group and their culture and traditions are something for nationalists to take pride in-not try to impede.
What I have been arguing is that the majority of Pashtuns are in Pakistan. If the history of Pakistan's ethnic groups is our history then Pashtun history (lets not forget 30 Million or 70% of Pashtuns are in Pakistan) is ALSO Pakistan's history. You might hate this but it is entirely true. Ahmed Shah Baba, Sher Shah Suri and Bilal Lodhi are all Pashtuns born in what is now Pakistan. So they belong to Pakistan's historical heritage and to the historical heritage of Pashtuns-Pakistani Pashtuns.
However as you prove ethnic Nationalists or racists believe that Pakistan is trying to steal their history and pass it as their own. However Pakistani Pashtuns believe their history is intermeshed with Pakistani history. Whatever is their history is Pakistan's too.I am the author of Badal, an upcoming fiction novel on the War on Terror. You are right havi, pakistani is neither is not an ethnic country, it doesnt preserve and promote ethnic identities , langauges and cultures of different ethnicities of pakistan. Its mainstream culture is urdu, and punjabis who are majority who have adopted urdu. This punjabi-mohajir itehad is trying to impose urdu culture on rest of pakistanis.

I will maintain this. Its culture is the culture of all races making our culture much wider than the culture of many other countries, including Afghanistan.I think you managed to kick Afghanis_hehe out of the forum. Afghans can't take it when Pakistanis respond to them. Everyone was abusing him. All he did was respond to people.

Do you know shadowgoverner , in pakistani text books it is clearly written that during times of mehmud ghaznavi, pakistan was comprised of indus valley and afghanistan. They it says that ghauri conquered delhi and "pakistan" expanded to delhi. Then it says that aurangzaib was great muslim ruler and defeated hindus and during his times "pakistan" stretched from bengal to kabul...its hilarious, for confirmation put "pakistani text books" in youtube, you would find varieties of pakistani programes on this issue.Originally posted by shadowgoverneri took part in that poll lol
i cant believe some fools choose jinah over Ahmad Shah Abdali or Bacha khan.I also discussed but the people seem to be in their own world where they think they can change history.
now they are calling khushal khan khattak a pakistani

Afghani_hehe,
You sign on here, mock Pashtuns, and then you say that your mother is Pashtun. Then you call Pashtuns terrorists in FATA and Afghanistan.
You say you are proud of the Mughal, Persian, and Afghan rulers of India, and thats why these rulers are Pakistani..
well then on that line is the British Raj a Pakistani too? how about Pakistan's first army chief of staff who was an angrezi?

In that board, even if you question someone you will be banned. It's a board for parrots, where the administration will ban anyone who even dares to question the pseudo Islamic, Banana republic of Pakistan.Originally posted by Luffy View Postafghan_hehe
you loved being here? By calling ahmad shah baba a looter, bacha khan a gaddar and other non-sense? ..tell me can some one talks against pakistanis and jinnah on defence.pk?..you cant imagine how much we were relax with you. You were simply here for provokations and dramas.
I never understood the problem of some Punjabis of Pakistan, and their addiction to Pashtuns/Afghans. One of them even went as far as starting a Pashtun Forums, to compete with PF. You never hear of a Pashtun running or trying to create a Punjab forums. Hilarious to say the least.
Anyways, no one has been banned -- yet.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
