Truth is always bitter and this proverb suits you the best...MY DEAR!!!

you are taunting ( peshawer)for being colonised in past then what's happening in Afghanistan
    for the following years????
I think you are first Afghan pakhtun and then a muslim...But dont you know the words of OUR
    PROPHET(SAW)??
    "All muslims are brothers"

And still you are raising the slogans of durand line and afghan boundries??!!!
You must think we Afghans are Khars. We dont need Pakistanis to tell us about Islam and brother hood, this is Afghansitan where the Central Asian Basmachis and Indian Khalifats alike came for sanctuary. Where Ahmad Shah Abdali raised the plight of the Uighurs instead of selling them out, where our Nikaas responded to the call for jihad from Indian Muslims. We dont need Ghulams to ever tell us about Islam

If there are no boundaries why did you abandon the poor Muslims of Deccan, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala? Why did you partition India? Why did you divide Bengal Muslim from Tamil Muslim from Delhi Muslim?

If there are no borders amongst Muslims, then why did you institutionalize the Durand then? Maybe Kurdish people can come to your country, lets invite Nigerians too while we are at it

Whats happening in Afghanistan is what your Nekaa shouldve done insteaf of fetching tea for Olaf Caroe. There is a resistance. Occupiers come and go to our watan but they never stay here. Some how they became very comfortable in Peshawar though.

Those days of Pakistani tribesmen studying at Khushal Khan and Rahman Baba schools then going back to Pakistan are over. Handing over Northern plots of land to Waziri and Mehsud tribesmen are over. Lar aw Bar yaw Afghan is over.

A Pakistani Pashtun is by all and every means a Pashtun. Our peoples Pashtun-ness has continually been doubted by the Afghan who follows the formula "proud and patriotic Pakistani=cannot be a patriotic Pashtun".

This theory is flawed. The very concept that a Pashtun is Afghan is flawed. If so why don't Afghans kick out the hazara tajik and uzbek but no... lets use that for scoring points and dividing Pakistani Pashtun from his country. But hey, we won't even meet the Pakistani Pashtuns after trying to lead them on a path of self destruction. We won't abandon our tajik, hazara and uzbek brothers but we want the Pashtuns to be involved in a bloody war with the other races in Pakistan.

Just look at the hypocrisy Arooj. I start laughing every time i think of it. Then i feel sorry for the Afghan and say its wrong to laugh at him... hes suffered so much with 30 years of war.

We have been called traitor's, dal-khors and what not. And why?

Just because we are south of the durrand line or call ourselves Pakistanis. Just because NORTHERN kings sold us to the British of their own accord and taxed our people into oblivion.

Also u have raised a very important point which the Afghan Pashtun continually denies. Pakistani Pashtuns have protected and safeguarded Pashtun culture and allowed it to thrive while the Afghan was in a state of war for 30 years. They should appreciate us. Instead they call Peshawari culture kaffir culture. When i said Peshawar was the heartland of Pashtuns last time on the site ask them how they treated me, labelling me Punjabi and what not.

Arts, craft, fashion, music, embroidery, Pashtun carpet industry... all has thrived in Peshawar. Peshawar is actually the lifeline of the Pashtun yet they call it Punjabized city and ignore it. What greater crime could they commit against the Pakistani Pashtun.

How could an afghan king of sold your land to the british when he didn't even control it to begin with? that makes as much sense as a waziri chieftan selling afghanistan to the british. if rahman khan was selling pashtuns when he decided on a border with the british empire, didn't pakistan/pakistani pashtun politicians do the same when they agreed on the borders of pakistan after the british left?

and i think you are giving yourself too much credit here in regards to safeguarding pashtun culture. have you seen your music videos?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The average time an Afghan manages to respect Pakistan and Pakistani Pashtuns is 60 seconds. Then he starts again. You just typed up some beautiful posts and after that you went on a Pakistan-bashing rampage and proved you believe the Pakistani Pashtun is a slave, exactly what i had been claiming for so long.

What do you mean why did we partition India? Were you being told not to slaughter cows, were u being told muslim majority provinces wouldn't be allowed to govern their own affairs, were ur mosques being attacked and looted, were ur women being raped and slaughtered just for being muslim. Pashtuns led the independence movement (3 of 4 people in now or never movement were Pashtun also Abdur Rab Nishtar) and u shud be happy they fought and got their freedom and the freedom loving spirit is intact within the southern Pashtun. Instead u are saying we should have remained slaves!

U hate Pakistan bcauz u share a border with us and think our country has put a gun to the pashtuns head... u wud hate india for the same reason if it was undivided bcuz then they wud control Pakhtunkhwa.

What freedom? Didn't northern kings sell out their southern lands to the British? They had no problem throwing away Peshawar then, their great amazing summer capital... of course only to come up hundred years later to cry lar aw bar yaw afghan. Their mistake... then they are the ones who cry over it. Amazing policy!

What kind of freedom is it when you sell out your southern land (not anymore though) to the British? Then sell your own land to the Russians and Americans. If you think the world only sees Pakistan as the slave you may like to know that they see Afghanistan as a bigger slave.

You know what, forget it. Lets not go down that path. But its sad to notice you are new and you are very quickly falling into the same Pakistan-bashing pattern as your brothers.

It makes sense for Arooj to be angry. Maybe u don't know how all along we've been bullied. Its only now someone has had the courage to discuss this. But it makes no sense for Afghans like you to start shouting the moment you're shown the mirror. We Pakistanis know we have many problems and have made huge mistakes.

Does the Afghan? Not from what i'm seeing. He seems to only think the world is his enemy, from the Pakistani, ISI, Iran, Arabs, Russia to America.

Being sad for being from one side as the Durand as HaviSultan would only matter if (a) you cared for Durand in the first place (b) you cared for his agenda in the second. We are all free to choose where our loyalties lie, with whom and for what purpose. HaviSultan has made his views clear on where his loyalties are and whom he identifies as non-friends.

Sure, a lot of folk here have some kind of agenda and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the worse thing would be to fall for the "outsider" view of HaviSultan who comes onto this forum claiming that whatever he is writing is for the good of the Pashtun people and that somehow we should be grateful for this selective representation in the process.

              In regards to Pakistan..

It is not for allegedly supporting an Afghan insurgency, but for supporting the NATO war that gave rise to the Afghan insurgency- thats what Pakistan is responsible for - supporting a NATO war that has caused instability within Afghanistan and the rest of the region- an unnatural situation.

What is clear, is that Pashtuns do not live in a friendly neighborhood not for the reasons that the rats Kharzai/Spanta cites, but for the exact opposite reasons- for the VERY reasons that these puppet sit in Kabul promoting and endorsing a war they wish could go on forever.

in this neighborhood where a Western /Northern Alliance backed puppet sits in Kabul and sheds crocodile tears for the ghosts of Panjwai, one must keep in mind that those bullets that killed those people in Panjwai murders came via Pakistan air supply routes, a MUSLIM country, and THE ONLY country that supplies LETHAL SUPPLIES to NATO. Uzbekistan and Russia do not, and only allow non-lethal supplies- not that that makes them any better, but Im raising a point to the distortions people continuously push forward.

              Get the facts right.

Meharbani kar ke list ko agey barraen.

Ye bataen ke agar Afghanistan apne dost/dushman ko pehchan sakta he, to phir Pakistan ka dost kon hai aur dushman kon?

Aur phir ye bhi bata dein, ke dost kyun aur dushman kyun?

Havi, as an Engineer, I'm really concerned with your lack inability to analyze, and your ruthless way of assuming and creating fabrications out of thin air. All you are doing is now creating a rift between the same ethnic group. Where did anyone say Pakistani Pashtuns are slaves? Notice how in every post you constantly mention "Pakistani" Pashtun, "Pakistani" Pashtun that. It's as if you are suffering from a disease(may Allah give you Shif'a) that has made you so insecure, that you keep on having to remind yourself Pakistan exists. When somebody makes a post, which you think aligns with your views, you begin your usual chest-thumping with hurrays and praise. What's sad is when you get refuted, and your nonsense is debunked, you hibernate and selectively claim something else for brownie points. I know your algorithm to such an extent that I can create a C++ simulator that will do exactly what you've been doing the past few weeks. Let's reiterate, anybody is welcomed here, whether it be a Jew or a Sikh. If that Jew or Sikh claims nonsense, he will get refuted albiet in a professional manner. The same way you are getting refuted, or other Afghans or Pakistanis in the past have been refuted. If that is considered "thrashing" for an Afghan or Pakistani then I must say AFPAK needs a curriculum revision as soon as possible. It's called a discussion where you constructively criticize the other party. If someone wants to leave because the other can't take someones professional way of debunking their views, that's not our problem. Only the strong ones remain. I've noticed most Pakistanis can't take the heat from criticism, which is why journalists get abducted all the time by the ISI.

Let me make this clear for you, Pashtuns are one people and cut off the nonsense as to how your "cultural capital" is being attacked. Peshawar is the most dearest city, and it has a special place in the heart of all ~ 50 million Pashtuns. Hell, it was the winter capital of Afghanistan. Get the point already. We view Peshwar the same way we view Swat and Kandahar. Your goal, from what I've noticed is to somehow magically prove we hate the guts of the other side. Such divide and conquer history has proven throughout the course of history as a failure. Just because I criticize the banana republic of Pakistan doesn't mean you have to get your panties in a bunch and claim I, a non-Afghan national, view them as slaves. It's a known fact that Pakistan is a puppet state, with a rag-tag government whose sovereignty is not respected(take the 10 people who died today from drone attacks). It's also a known fact that Pashtuns are demonized. while non-Pashtuns are deciding if whether they should major in CpE or CS from LUMS or NUST. The Pakistani government allows a bunch of camps that trains young Pukhtuns into becoming suicide bombers, because those illiterate Pukhtuns can easily save the establishment when another Kashmir conflict arises. Notice the difference, and think deep about it before you respond. I've spoken extensively about this in our previous exchange. Take a deep breath, and think before you talk. Like Luffy(as you would say your Pakistani Pashtun)said, it's really alarming to see someone like you write a book on Pashtuns. No wonder we are in such a mess.

Yup, you've probably spent your entire life in Kandahar, Kunar, Swat, Peshawar, Malakand to know how Pashtuns feel and think.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                        KB,

Pakistan supports the NATO war/Karzai regime with supply routes, both ground and air supply routes. The supply routes through Pakistan are the only way the NATO war/Karzai regime get lethal supplies. The Northern Distribution Network only allows non-lethal supplies.

Your analysis for your reasons of opposition to Pakistan are completely off track. Im assuming you are attributing the Afghan insurgency to Pakistan. If that is the case, then it is completely nonsense as Pakistan is at war in most of FATA against a Pakistan insurgency that solely exists due to Pakistan support for the NATO war.
