Did they really? Did the Taliban really flog innocent women in public? I thought that one video that was circulating was fake? Nearly every time I've seen 'evidence' brought forward, it ends up being fake(think the nose-cutting case).

Do you have any evidence for that claim of yours? Just a humble question. For all I know, it could've been a fictitious post.

Why do you people have doubt about that? Does the lake of proof of the involvement of a criminal in one or two crimes mean he/she is not involved in other crimes as well? Further, in order to prove that the video was fake you would have to present solid solid counter proof especially the following.


Technical and circumstantial evidence that the video (Swat girl punished by Taliban-Report - YouTube) was fake and that the people involved were not real characters/victims but pretenders (also provide information about the identity of the pretenders). Also note that Muslim Khan Taleban spokesman admits that the incident happened in the video above.



The victim i.e., Asia Bibi of Charbagh, Swat, of the outrageous act has been identified and her interview has been published by newspapers (http://www.newsweekpakistan.com/the-take/244). Those who are claiming that the video is fake should prove the victim to be an impostor and not a genuine person.



One of the main perpetrators has also been arrested recently according to newspapers and police sources (http://www.dawn.com/2012/03/20/swat-...ging-case.html ). That is another evidence although he has not yet been indicted.
