using the elements in urine for medication is different from actually pissing in a cup and then drinking it for superstition purposes and then companies marketing it as a soft drink to make money from the superstition beleifs is even more ludicrous.

it was very intelligent to do that , mister khushal ?
Treating the women like that is intelligent ?

Where was the beard length issue specifically for financial support?
the idea of the vice and virtue police was based on the saudis version. the laws they enforced were different from the saudis.

This isnt an issue of whether there's anything wrong or right about beards. This is a red herring you present.

This is about whether a Government like the Taliban can push such things on people. Now Granted being forced to wear a beard is one of the last thing I am concerned about in life. However, it shows that the Taliban's priorities are totally useless for a functional society.
The shaved beards reminded them of the commies who they blamed for the destruction of the country. they wanted to transform the society and wanted to do everything the opposite of the commies. for you a shaved beard means nothing because you live amonst people with shaved beards, for them it meant communist/shaitan/enemy. Its all about perception.

Its like if you have a hitler mustache in america or germany. it may not mean anything in reality but to americans or germans you would be representing something ugly.

(this is according to the Taliban type of Shari'ah of course; not the REAL Shari'ah)

The TV and the Music was not about unveiled women, it was more about the fear that their society would imitate people that they veiwed as unislamic. Your talking about uneducated people who really had not seen too much of the outside world. It was like banning the leonardo decaprio hair style. preventing imitation was the goal. evolution is inevitable.

That doesn't answer the original question; where was the issue of beard length done for Saudi support?

again where are you drawing this from; source, references?

please don't conflate the banning TV issue with the banning of the "Titanic" hair cut. I am specifically talking about TV and music; and if it was banning of imitation, they wouldn't have banned music in total. Which they did.

No one cares if you have a hitler mustache in america, you may get snickers and scorns, but other than that people go about their day.

Shaved beards reminded them of the commies? Then why were they taking advice from Saudis haved face and a mustache. Let's not be disingenuous here. You're making up reasons. show a source.

Even if you did in the context of this debate it has no relevance; Khushal is diverting focus.

they say the wholefood is even more nutritional, dear. who says it is merely superstition? you have evidence?
anyway, what's that got to do with the laws of the taliban?
interesting to see what a talib apologist, you are. must be why you couldn't believe the evidence of their atrocities from the mouths of hazaras.
remember that, the demand for 'independently verifiable evidence', lol.
where is all your independently verifiable evidence for everything you claim?

whatever it is, what does that have to do with this? focus Khushal....FOCUS, let the Hindus drink their pee pee, they're not of any concern for us.

If we're going to compare two evils here, then its less of a crie to have a pee pee soft drink than bunch of tyrants torturing people over stupid things claiming they're doing it to obey God. call me crazy, but I think human well being is a better priority; I mean no is being forced to drink pee pee cola, I hope
