The contradicition lies within yourself, never did the islamic emirate forbid what could benefit one.

Where did the Taliban clearly forbid all media and all modernisation, this was just american sponserd propaganda to demonize afghanistan and the soldiers of the islamic emirate.

Then why do they ban all television as a whole? Look at what the Taliban did they STOPPED tv, TV was confiscated, dont deny this because they even made a video where they chucked TV's into trees lol The irony.

Is this all you have to say when Taliban do stupid things, cal it propaganda, when the Taliban used to be so proud and boastful about such things.

There are benefits in TV and in Internet,no doubt, the Islamic emirate forbid what was going against Islam, like Pornography,Bollywood, other unuseful stuff, there were no islamic channels known or available for the common afghan except Bollywood and Western Movies and Stuff, and they feared that this will corrupt the society.

Muslims have developed and has established alot of great things, aswell Islamic TV Channels and also those non-islamic Tv channels which share knowledge, like Discovery Channel and such are useful.
High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

^Even in communist era programma's on tv were actually concervative porn and such filt didn't excist on afghan tv and only once a weak you saw some old Bollywood movie that nobody really watched, the only unislamic was that women didn't wear headscarfs but you could easaly change that. In the old music video, you see rarely someone dance the singers just stood there and sang, so what kind of filth do you mean? And afghan tv right now is totaly difrent from back then, you didn't had any indian drama's etc.
And this is not only about the tv Taliban did much worser thing than only baning the tv.

among this all there was also islamic teaching at school, many people in the midst of all this deviation lived conservative with their parda and haya.

before taliban there were all these jihadis who started fighting eachother after the fall of najib the torturer.
ive seen ustad yasir coming to our neighbourhood threatening the men in our new built still he didnt harm any of them.
            the jamiatis did oppress people.

taliban cam e and taught you kabuli(even though i was born in kabul as well) a good Islamic lesson and thanks to them now kabul is as Islamic as other Afghan cities.

i went to Afghanistan some 4 years ago and i was shaving my beard in jalalabad, told my cousin "hey having a beard is not a have to" he looked at me laughing saying are you crazy ,having a beard is a must have.
the same way i was having a discussion with a cousin of mine who has lived almost all of his life in russia about Islam and he even found me to be not conservative enough.

you may say all you want but Islam is here to stay in Afghanistan till the end.
Accept that Afghan people love beards and parda.
What kind of lesson? Peopel only act like that in Kabul becuase of fear, if there is no fear they will wear mini skirt all over again. Taliban brought fear and fear can be easealy overwon. I am not against Islam but baning music, tv and blowing up our heritage, that's what I am against, telling peopel how long your cloths can be how long your hair schould be, punishing your women becuase they have shown a littel skin is ridicuouls, peopel only gona hate Islam and you for that. Thats way you see muslim in the west who have more freedom in there countrys still being proper muslim, but when you look at Iranians they are really westernised they not only became atheist but also hate Islam, and tell me how did that come? are Iranina born that way, I don't think so they are like that becuase they were forced in Iran and once in the west were there is no fear they do whatever they want.
If taliban will come to power and do the **** what they did before, forcing peopel, then peopel will rice against them and the communist era of the 80s will look like a joke what will come after that....

^I speak the truth and it's hard for you and your type of peopel who think that Afghans are all the same, and having a beard and wearing hijab is not the problem here, but forcing it on the peopel who don't want it is wrong and stupid.

Where the hell did I say that beards should be baned or women should stop wearing hijab nowhere, I only said that nobody schould be forced to do this things, for me is freedom is not just being clean schaved and wering jeans NO, freedom for me is having choises, a choise to live your life like you want it to be, that is the freedom. What is so hard in understanding that. I am against taliban becuase they don't give peopel the right to live how they want. The force everything on peopel, and forcing peopel to act in some way will not bring stability or progress in the country.

Khostai I have been arguing for freedom and dignity and an end to intolerance.

These people are conditioned to see things in a certain way. They are conditioned to take offense when a man made organization such as the Taliban is insulted. Can't the Taliban make mistakes? Or are Hakeemullah Mahsud or Mullah Umar Prophets who are always correct. These people give these people a status like Prophets man... they can't even think they can ever be wrong.

It will take hundreds of years for tolerance to develop in our countries. I was foolish to promote secularism in this region. When you can't stop jumping at each others necks for small things, are so intolerant that our fanaticism is boiling over our heads then how can we even introduce such a system yet.

Meybe you are right it will take a lot of time before our peopel could be tolerant and get rid of prejudices they have at everything that in some one eyes look un-Islamic but I have my hoope, you should not give yours up, the time will come, we must just get our education and help pashtuns and I know for sure if peace will come to Afghanistan peopel will look down on this extrimist, and will get tolerant, like Europeans look down on there dark ages....

One is astounded at the number of people in India that belive that Gaumutra can cure cancer, heart disease and AIDs to name a few. A country cannot march into the 21st century or fool the world into believing that it is marching towards progress if it drinks urine.

                          damn

what is wrong with some of the talibs here? i get that you support the taliban, that is fine and in the grand scheme of things there isn't much wrong with that. the problem is that when you make excuses for all their stupid edicts and laws while also breaking them in the here and now. internet, tv, human images, music.

at least have the guts to not be a blind follower. support them, fine, but don't act like these people were angels and every law that came out their ass was legitimate. a movement where all its people are "yes men" means that movement never evolves into something better or expands its horizons. ending lawlessness was noble on their part, but then comes the "what have you done for me lately" thing.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

the supposed pious always have their excuses and pick and choose their rules to suit their own desires.
                            rulers and the masses=different laws.

well i guess it was highly 'beneficial' to afghanistan and the afghan people, to have obl and the anti-western training camps, operating there.

During the five-year history of the Islamic Emirate, much of the population experienced restrictions on their freedom and violations of their human rights. Women were banned from jobs, girls forbidden to attend schools or universities. Those who resisted were punished instantly

Btw all the indians are not cow piss drinkers, there are 150 millions muslims, and the majority of indians do not do such things

it was very intelligent to do that , mister khushal ?
Treating the women like that is intelligent ?
