^ why is everyone obsessed with Imran khans past love life? He was a handsome guy, women fell head I've heels for him. Don't blame the stud.

As far as his ex wife is concerned she is/was Christian not Jewish not that it matters. Regardless she has done loads of humanitarian work.

                  Shahbaz,

These people are hilarious. I have been riding on cloud 9 these past few days watching Farhat Andersen and her cronies here at PF work up a sweat. It was like watching a chicken with its head cut off spewing fresh carotid blood on the ground, simulataneously humerous and sad at the same time.

I knew that something was threatening their anti reality construct. You know the one where 0% civilian casualty rates are attributed to the drone strikes?

                  http://www.pashtunforums.com/pashtun...art-2-a-23944/

I had little idea who this Mr. Khan was until the thread explosion occurred. After all, they are a great weathervane to utilize in regard to finding out what will really end the war. Usually its the exact opposite of their directives.

The logic about zina trumping western wrought occupation and destruction is as ridiculous as it is entertaining. Everyone here with a brain that reads their commentaries knows that

                  1) It was they who asked unknownprince to play by the secular democratic playbook. After all, everyone is well aware that Mullah Omar has little chance of being in the election and that Hakimullah Mehsud wont be asking for his ballot anytime soon. So now, if Pakistanis work within that paradigm, they got what they wanted. Any more lame excuses would merely translate to: Well what we meant was vote for who we tell you to vote for even though that is voting for sustained Afghan occupation and Western hegemony and against your interests. Sorry guys, just because you are content being house sand monkeys doesnt mean everyone else is that way, including rich mansion owing womanizing cricket players. After all, being a rich, womanizing, cricket player doesnt have to translate over into policy. Thats your secular democratic rules, not Hakimullah Mehsuds.

After all, in your rule book, Farhat ANDERSEN'S surname and social mores dont matter right??? Ohhhh but Sita White's surname for her child does! Oh but wait, thats because Imran Khan is pro sharia law. Looooool. Please. And thats why the Taliban told him to go to h-ell? Oh wait, in your world that was a black operation arranged by the ISI. Shhhh, the ISI is under your bed right now in your apartment.

                  2) Its merely because they know that Pakistan cannot simulataneously sustain the gravy train for its fat lazy generals and for the free ride the loser gas pumping mentally handicapped Afghan emigres become Khans overnight (Karzai) have had till now.

So their frenzied cries got my attention and I searched and found this little gem:

                  http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/us-e...cuments/247596

After all, these sick psychopaths who are unwilling to fight their own war and hunt down mullah hakimullah and mullah omar their selves are all too happy to sit back and watch Americans do their dirty work for them. Its the highest level of cowardice. After all, its simple. They claim to know the Pashtun belt so well. Just collect arms or get them from the west and get a lashkar together and find Omar and collect the bounty.

The wikileak cables revealed a lot to me through their crazed fanatical cries about the meeting with Munter:

" Khan called on the U.S. to scale back its operations in Afghanistan to make way for talks."

"Noting that he was recently in Swat, he went on to accuse the Pakistan Army of extrajudicial killings, summary executions, and "sexual humiliation" of residents in some villages."

" His litany of criticisms ranged from accusations of U.S. failure to support democracy in Pakistan to drone operations being a driving force of militancy and radicalization."

Btw, when is the Pakistani election? Isnt it a far way off? Its comical that they are getting so agitated so early. My deepest hope is that this comedy routine lasts for quiet a while.

I need some entertainment and they are providing it.

                    Master Khan,

Your initial instinct was correct. They expect you to vote for one corrupt nepotist or the other (Achakzai or Asfandyaar).

Read the wikileaks cable. Get ready for the rants to begin because they sense that you are a sheep minded person. The keyboard diarrhea that they demonstrate in regard to this Mr Khan is better than comedy hour. It ranges from 'but but but he made love to a jew to' to 'he's got a big house.' All vices that they endorse and are irrelevent on their own chess board.

Just make a cup of chai and watch the rabid and frenzy responses that are nonsensical. Its like watching a rat asphyxiate.

That was an extremely informative post. I really, really enjoyed reading it. I was wondering if you could further elaborate on the movement, or perhaps forward me some articles here.

                      Soldat_Amir,
Awesome findings. I was just wondering if you could help me find the evidence of those claims. I would appreciate it.
                      Dera Manana Admin Khan Graana,

The movement's core is composed of upper-middle and middle class urban-ite leftist "liberals" who seem to be drawn to Imran Khan's "progressive" ideals (which they're so not! :p) and humanitarian track record. The rest - which seems to be expanding - are a combination of frustrated independents, who're wary of the current political setup, and traditional voters, whose candidates have begun to gather around Khan and his PTI; mostly because of the lahor gathering which shook a number of opportunist politicians who'd at one point or another been part of the "establishment" parties (having left or been kicked out for various reasons).

Basically it was a combination of the frustrated independents and urban liberals that exploded him onto the scene. That led to a number of "heavy-weight" politicians who were already unsatisfied or discarded by other parties to join his cause. Here are a few I know of:

Masood Sharif Khattak: Hometown is in Karak. Army brat. Former Major in pakarmy. Retired 1986. After zias death, used high school connections with zardari to keep his then bureaucratic career going. One time VP of the PPP. Has never won any elections. Contested in native Karak and in Mianwali against Imran Khan in 2002; lost both. Arrested in 1996 by then president Leghari. Released by musharraf in 1999 due to connections with the DG MI Ehsan ul Haq. Close to benazir bhutoo. Left party along with mentor Naseerullah Babar in 2007 after the PPP signed the NRO with musharraf. Lots of connections in the military-intelligence, bureaucratic and political world. Adept at messing with people. Believed to have joined the party upon Mazaris insistence (cannot confirm).

Khwaja Hoti: Former provincial and federal minister (until he quit, both times). Scion of the "original" Nawab of Hoti family (Haider Hoti comes from a different family). Known flip-flopper and is supposedly totally full of himself. Was with the PPP, but quit after the top-brass wouldn't entertain his demand for a higher post in the party's central leadership (he was president of the PPP in Pakhtunkhwa). Joined the ANP, demanded the same, quit. Might do the same with the PTI. His family is super rich though and they have influence everywhere. Is a formidable force in his native constituency in Mardan. Joined along with friend Nisar Mohammad Khan, ex-federal minister who was up until recently associated with the PML (Likeminded) run by Salim Saifullah who is said to also be monitoring the situation along with his brothers Humayun (PML-Q) and Anwar (PPP); Javed who's the youngest might join the PTI.

Ifthikhar Jhagra: Son of the Khan of Jhagra. Former provincial minister. Powerful in his native killay of Jhagra and in the NA-3 constituency in Peshawar. Joined the PPP extremely young upon the insistence of Hayat Sherpao. Had a "king-maker" role in the PPP set up in Pakhtunkhwa. Was tired of being treated as a door-mat and being overlooked by the party's central leadership so he decided to quit and join the PTI. He used to be in school with Imran Khan, who'd been after him to join the PTI since the party was created. Was one of the reasons why shah mehmood qureshi felt comfortable joining the party.
                      etc.

The above names are just a few examples of how his vote bank seems to be increasing. Its pretty artificial (wouldn't be surprised) and could fall apart pretty easily. The new members of his party seem to be "established" candidates with fairly solid political backgrounds, thus also making them susceptible to having giant inflated egos. But should it succeed in getting past this, the only other obstacle that awaits is Mazari and Gul. The presence of both was said to be one of the reasons why Owais Ghani, former governor of Balochistan and Pakhthunkhwa; and co-founder of the PTI, quit.

Sorry, Graan wrora, I wish I could post a few links but most of what I have/get is from the books and papers I read; and on the ground info from people back home. But I think there was a video on Youtube where musharraf admits offering Imran Khan the office of Prime Minister. He then goes on to say Imran was opposed to playing second fiddle and wanted absolute authority to reside with him (Khan). Hope this helps.

I don't think jemima khan was a Jew, she was a Christians then converted to Islam after marrying Imran Khan.
Imran Khan wanted to live in his country so he had to leave her and there is nothing wrong with that.

Imran Khan is the only decent person who we can trust and the other had their chance and they failed.

You misunderstood, I am saying that I agree with you. By the rules that these folks want to you to play by, surnames, religious identities, and the whole lot doesnt matter. Thats their defined set of parameters. They know full well that the deck is stacked and that the dice are loaded already, so now they have little room to level these sorts of idiocies.

                                Barakzai,

You have raised factual points here about the irony of these pro US war people (ANPites) accusing those opposed to the US war and occupation of Afghanistan as being pro Pakistan policies.

The irony is that they are opposing Imran Khan simply because he intends to end Pakistans support for the US war and occupation of Afghanistan, so in essence, they support Pakistans current support for the US war and occupation of Afghanistan which makes one ask who is pro-Pakistan now.

Hence, this is the sole reason Imran Khan has gotten them furious.

If you need more of laugh, they then wishfully say Imran Khan won't be able to do it. I think his recent demands virtually finalize the recent decisions.

His been saying the same thing about this inhumane war for 7 years
