You have no other choice. We are being used and abused by Islamabad, NATO and if we push it forward Iran as well (India to an extent, but their role is not as negative as the others). So if you want to ensure the survival then you have to make changes. Otherwise, I can give you a tour to the native american reservations here. If you want to see a broken people, look no further.

Which holy Pakistani gave you an idea about such ridiculous percentages? Tajiks make up at least 30% of the country and Dari is being spoken and/or understood by 80% of the population, while Pukhtoons make up at least 50% of it's population and Pukhto is spoken and/or understood by 70% of the country. You worry about your Pekhawer buddy, like majority of Pakistani Pukhtoons here.

Which Pashtun would utter the word Pakistan, You wrote Kandahar will be the bridge between Pakistan and Afghanistan, in other words, you clearly demostrated your stance, being that one you have accepted British made Borders and second, you accept Pakistan as being your Nation and a representative of Pashtuns.

All the other provinces of Afghanistan except Kandahar and the provinces that used to be part of Kandahr which I think is Helmand and etc speak and use Pashto. Kabul, Mazar is all Farsi. and you know this.

In order to be educated in Afghanistan you must know Farsi. Pashto has no status. It a national language cause you are majority that is all. Its not used.

Pakistani, no one in Afghansitan denies the help they got, but they got it in their ethnic homeland aka pashtunkhwa. How quickly do you all forget? That when the people of malakand division needed help and were made refugees, Panjab and Sindh closed their doors on them. In sindh the nationalist parties would protest at the major entries to the province. Guess who stomached the refugees of malakand? Once again Pashtuns of swabai and mardan. Similarly, the people of FATA are going to either settled districts of Pashtunkhwa or khost, kunarr, paktia. See, even in the worst times you can't rely on your so-called countrymen, it is the pashtuns who are going through all these issues. Kabul city and Kabul province are two different issues.
The province of Kabul is majority pashtun, and they can speak pashto just fine. Obviously the urban centres have a persian influence, just like in pashtunkhwa urdu is put on a higher pedestal. Also, it is not only the south which has a pashtun influence, it is also the eastern and central pashtun areas. Such as Kunarr, ningrahar, khost, paktia, paktika, ghor, etc. They speak pashto just fine, and are just as traditional pashtuns as the ones in the south or pashtunkhwa. You are holding on strings. I don't know if you have ever been to school in peshawar, but when we went, we would get double-fined for speaking in pashto in class.

The reality is that people here are missing the point. Pashtuns on both sides of the durand line are nothing to be proud of (in terms of achievements). We are weak, divided, politically insignificant and petty. Instead of attempting to one up each other, why don't we pay attention to something useful. Our people are being bombed by pakistan army, and NATO, they are manipulated and starving. Whereas here people are wasting their time arguing which area cares more about pashto. If this trend goes on, we want have a language or a nation to argue over. Please stop this petty nonsense.
