    Abu Khurasani

if you stopped reacting by your ignorance and ethnicity stupidity; youd be able to think and understand things clearly

I don't believe Islamicness or Muslimhood or what have you depends on ethnicity; I have never nor would ever argue that case despite your attempt to imply that I am (straw man argument fallacy).

You on the otherhand attempt at conflating Tajik Nationalism with everythiing. Islam is not dependent on any ethnicity, this applies to Pashtuns as well as Tajiks as well as Arabs or whoever else.

Was modern Afghanistan created by the British defined boundaries? Yes I agree, I believe ALL Nation States, including your precious Tajikistan, Iran and Pakistan and what not are manufacturing of Europeans carving Asia.

Both Pashtuns and Tajiks live in a world of blinders, self deluded ideas of what their history is (Tajiks being the strongest opponents of partition...since when?) .....

Rabbani's death is bad for everyone, not because of ethnicity, but because Pakistan thinks that using deluded fools to serve their agenda will succeed in running amok; whether it was a Pakistani who did it is irrelevant, it was a Pakistani plan. Muslims universally must be united against the corrupt, whether Taliban, Massoud or King Fahd.

well , as we know , rabbani first tasted the tast of saudi real and pakistani rupee long before mullah omar grew a beard .

he was working for the isi , in dauds time , there countless proofs .

and by the way who burned down kabul ?

righ it was him massoud ,dostum , hekmatyar ,and the rest .

but wait ,right , during his "rule " afghanistan was the most progressive country in the world , and the tousands who died , the state he broke down , the cities he burned down , didnt count .

Ustad Burhanuddin Rabbani was cowardly killed by a Pashtun!
If Rabani was not hiding behind foreign forces, maybe it would have been different. What do you expect. Becareful who you mess with.

Its about security, you cant get everybody you want, you need opportunity. It is reasonable to asses that the Taliban have some inside people that are assisting them in these high profile assassinations. It is obvious that elements in the Rabani partyi did not want peace with the Taliban and there are elements in the Taliban that so not want peace either. If you combine these two groups that are opposed to peace, then you can come up with a successful plan to get close enough to take him out.

I am surprised they specifically did not check the turban before the meeting.

rabbani had blood on his hands and was a horrible leader but in 2011 he was better for afghanistan alive than dead. his death empowers northern nationalists and if there any moderate talibs in their shura, they are probably mourning his death. not so much because they cared about the man but because the potential for peace is slipping away.

rabbani and fahim to a less extent were the only 2 major jamiat/major tajik leaders who were in the karzai camp, the camp that wants to make peace with the taliban. the rest of the major tajik names accuse karzai of being pro talib and this and that.

rabbanis death only makes the talibans enemies stronger and more extreme while making the elements sympathetic to peace more weak.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
