Mr. Bilour was not the first one to suggest remarks similar to this, neither will he be the last one. There were many Mr. Bilours in the past 250 years. I would advise the Afghans to put their own house in order and forget the Pashtunistan issue. I would advise the KP Pashtuns to advance Pashto literature and start a cultural awakening in KP.

You should listen to his comments because he clearly outlines WHY the Afghan didn´t shell the other side of the Durand-Line.

The reason is that he considers the Pashtuns across the line as his brothers and the land as part of Afghanistan, so playing the game with Pakistan would only harm his own people.

I think people should know this forum is not for kids they want childish discussion they can go to some dirty forum. He should know that in professional discussion personal attacks towards any individual or their family is disrespectful to all of us and brings down the reputation of this forum and beside only shows ones self-weakness. In fact anger in any forum or in the Cyber world is meaningless simply because u r attacking someone you don't know!
Beside he should know in our society mothers are respected and worth our life living and dying for and face to face he could of been killed if even said "your mother".

Fida Yunis, one of the most prominent writers and historians, who has very methodically collected and published about the border regions and Afghanistan, narrates the events of Afghanistan’s incursions into Dir and Bajaur in support of ‘Pashtonistan’.

“Sardar Daoud, then-prime minister of Afghanistan had been fixated on internationalising the Pashtunistan issue by showing to the great powers and to the UN that peoples of the tribal agencies wanted, and were struggling for, an independent Pashtunistan. To make his claims credible, he raised a tribal lashkar and mobilized large number of troops to Asmar and Chigha Sarai on the other side of the Bajaur agency to stir up trouble for Pakistan. He also sent thousands of Afghan troops disguised as local civilians and gave cash and weapons to the Khan of Jandol and Nawab of Dir who supported the Afghan moves.
A major encounter took place on September 23-24 between the Afghan lashkar and the local tribesmen led by Khan of Khar. The people of Bajaur inflicted a humiliating defeat on the Afghan lashkar, forcing it to retreat. The tribesmen also captured a good number of Afghan troops and handed them over to the Pakistan government. Interestingly, Safi and Mohmand tribes on the Afghan side of the border also fought against their own troops to support the people of Bajaur and their choice for Pakistan. That was the end of Afghanistan’s military option for securing an independent ‘Pashtunistan’. “

But lets not forgets that the Afghan government had already recognized Pakistan on 20th oct. 1947. Now what would be the meaning of recognition of a sovereign country? Does it not mean that the country is accepted as a sovereign state with all its boundaries. Why did they have to recognize it on the first place. It doesn’t make any sense? The point is Afghan government has never shown to be sincere, as there is no clear policy on Pashtonistan. Now you all might ask why it have to be Afghanistan to do all….will… if a neighbor take my house by force, then it will have to be ME to regain that house or at least accept the support of others but the main role will still be mine. This insincerity by the Afghan govt. is well highlighted in Khan Abdul Wali Khan’s book called BACHA KHAN AW KHUDAI KHIDMATGAARI vol. 2 1994. pages 614- 622.. In his book ABDUL WALI KHAN writes of speaking to king Zahir shah what do they mean when they speak of Pashtonistan? The king referred him to the prime minister Hasham Maiwandwal but he couldn’t give a satisfactory answer. Wali khan writes that he was not so naive not to understand that if the higher authority , the king, can not answer his question, no one else will answer it. (I Shouldn't write this since my great grandfather was foreign Minster of king back then…but let the truth be known.)

We need to hear the other side of story too…Pashtonistan is Afghan land with historical record….for going pashtonistan on paper will do us no good…specially when these suggestion comes from those that tint to Paki line on tv and actively support black turban --Punjabi fifth column.
