So let's say i'm the future leader of Afghanistan.
I decide to kill anyone who I deem to be causing friction and going against my view. I do not care whether people want the government to be democratic or islamic. I will make a government that I think works best. People can't see this and aren't willing to change their way of thinking so I decide to kill and torture anyone who publicly cries out against my brutal policies. This results in thousands if not millions dead (with countless human rights abuses).
But I get to rule the country the way I want.
Would I, in that example be better for Afghanistan than Karzai?
