O'faithful hearken thy vezir, for he promises them another Gandamak and for the ancestors of Hari Nalwa a similar fate has been sealed. We shall shake the foundations of their inner sanctums, written in gold and immortal will remain this endeavor of Afghans.

          Dear Akber Jan

How can we work to create this Loy Afghanistan.

How shall we start for this campaign?

You know, the other day i was thinking about working on making a manifesto for a Loy Afghanistan, and maybe out of interest i wanted to, develop laws that would suit our people and give them some kind of respectable standard of living.

Do you think this is a good idea?

The start of such a campaign has to be done through a bottom up revolution. Campaigners should have two main goals. First, to educate the average man about the commandments of Allah swt and his God given rights as a citizen and a Muslim. Second, to get rid of corrupt chieftains that preside over tribes and villages - these are the people who are seen as elders and these are the people who drag us to the summits of misfortune and misery.

The success of of these two goals will paint the future of our nation; Allah forbid, if we fail to achieve these two goals then be assured that segmentation is going to occur and we will perhaps lose territory and its more likely that we fall prey to China. Pashtuns are a proud people, this tribal level pride has to be eradicated! We must have collective pride as Muslims first and as Afghans second. Allah swt has bestowed us a trust, a trust that has made us the shining star of human history and struggle. Allah swt says that if a community abandons the trust of Allah swt then Allah swt will replace such a community with a successor more worthy of trust.

Allah swt had bestowed such a trust upon Arabs, but they abandoned it. Can't we see how Allah swt has replaced them? Can't we see that the task and the trust has shifted to Afghans? Right here brother, we Afghans have the opportunity to not only seek Allah swt's pleasure but to pen our names with golden ink in the pages of human history. Right here and right now, Allah swt is blessing us with a golden age that we have longed for - lets us not forsake that trust and the blood of our martyrs.

Let us adhere to divine laws and make history instead of being passive observers. As for as making manifestos are concerned I am neither knowledgeable enough nor do I have the capacity to take on such a monumental undertaking. Furthermore, my manifesto is the Shariah and I fear you hold reservations.

That kind of person might be you, without you knowing it at this stage of your life. So get on your feet, roll up your sleeves and study Islam and your history.

Ahmad Shah Baba was elected on the same principle, he wasn't a candidate. He sat silent and didn't utter a single word, when all other chieftains were struggling to get elected.

Start from yourself, move on to your household and then expect some positive change. A good example of this is Karzai, how can we expect Karzai to implement the rule of law when members of his own household engage in crookedness. How can you promise justice to millions of people when you can not bring your own family members to justice!

obviously I can't run for leadership..
Women are the architects of societies, the demise and prosperity of societies depend on them. You are the educators of our future leaders, you are the rope of hope that we as a society hold on to. Allah swt forbids you to become state leaders, because you are given a much bigger task than that, you are the mentors of our leaders. The morals, the ethics, the chivalry, the sense of justice and equality that you teach to your offspring is mission critical to the success of our community.

Mohammad pbuh on many occasions stresses how important a role Khadija ul Kubra played in the Islamic society and in his life as a statesman - which confirms that "behind every successful man, there is a woman.

So mentor us, the men and women of future, and enjoin upon us virtue so that we have our feet firmly stood upon solid foundation.

Unfortunately our Afghan traditions persecute and repress our women. We have intertwined tradition with religion and made a dreadful paella. Most of our traditions with regards to women go against the very principles of Shariah. Similar to many of our problems, this unforunately can not be fixed over night. It requires a systematic process which would take at least a generation. But I know many brothers who are on the case, educating people etc!

If you want to help Pashto then why don't you take on task? Why not translate some beneficial English books into Pashto? That is exactly what Pashto needs.

Under Shariah law you reserve the right to practice your religion and it is the duty of state to protect you. However, you will be required to pay Jizya and you will not be allowed to proselytize.

For over 600 years Jews, Christians and members of other religions lived in harmony in the Islamic Caliphate, infact we protected the Jews when Christians wanted to slaughter them. You will not be made to suffer at all, I undertand that members of your community were persecuted but that was at the hands of common Afghans who knew nothing about Shariah law but its name.

Personally, I have on many occasions stood for the rights of Afghan Sikhs/Hindu - the last one being at Afghan Embassy in London where one of the embassy staff was harassing a really polite Sikh man and his family and I came down on the racist prick like a ton of bricks.

Before you say no to Shariah law, as an Afghan citizen it is your duty to study it and understand it, only then you will come to realize that it is a just, tolerant and fair system.

where do we get all the money from to support all the things we need, we have like millions of injured people, millions uneducated people. what do we do . International assistance usually requires either being their puppet or Democratic govt..
If Pashtuns are united as one single force

Iam sure we can over come problems such as money.

We can support ourselves through sharing our own resources and educating our people.

International Assistance can be given, but we as pashtuns, need to make sure there is no political agenda with it, especially in regards to islamic charties and the red cross.

Due to the talibans network and rule, Pakistan used the area with permission of the taliban, to invent more militant groups who were sent to fight India.

You are entitled to have an opinion, but you can not boil down an entire movement, their campaign and motives to three paragraphs. The intricacies of political strategy is far more complex and intertwined, the problem with our youth is that they pretend they know it all. The saying goes 'a little knowledge is a dangerous thing'.

Dearest brother I don't mean to put you down or anything but I find that it is my duty to put things plainly to you. You don't even know whether Islam has benefitted us, yet you were talking about writing a political manifesto. It is this kind of attitude that makes our leaders prone to vulnerabilities, in that they know little but they take on tasks bigger than life, boiling down complex situations to a few mere policies or paragraphs only to feed their curiosities.

All revolutionary and guerrilla movements require the cooperation of foreign entities and entities providing assistance to such movements have their own vested interests and that is an undeniable fact. As I put to your honourable self the other day, foreign entities assist such movements based on one of more of the following principles.

                              1. National interest.
                              2. Regional ambition
                              3. Common enemy.
                              4. Ideological commonality i.e religion

Now the leadership of the revolutionary movement has to understand all the above mentioned principles, furthermore, they should figure out which one's apply to the entity that is willing to assist them. Once they have analysed that, and if they see any benefit, they should then put together strategies and counter strategies to minimize the extent of foreign influence.
O'faithful hearken thy vezir, for he promises them another Gandamak and for the ancestors of Hari Nalwa a similar fate has been sealed. We shall shake the foundations of their inner sanctums, written in gold and immortal will remain this endeavor of Afghans.

I have campaigned for Pashtun rights for over 7 years, and from experience, the only people who have insulted me, swore at me, refused facts, were the so called Jamiet types, even Punjabis respected my work than these madrasah students.

I brought up the topic of "has islam benfitted Pashtuns before or after its introduction", i use it as a seeking knowledge, I wanted to see peoples views on it.

I am very well aware of the Islam/Faith aspect of the Pashtuns way of life. So with respect, do not feel that iam naive or ill knowledged.

I just find, on one side, you have muslims bragging about conquering the whole world and inforcing Islamic laws, while avoiding and thinking all our problems related to our region will be diminsed when an Arab and his camels will unite us.

These are deluded dreams, fantasies, Pashtuns are tired of War and we must first work on Pashtun unity without being told that we must fight more to invade and imperialise non muslims.
