No country will remain forever and pakistan may disintegrate in next few years or decades.
Compare to independent pakhtunistan or loy afghanistan, i prefer pakistan.
why i dont prefer independent pakhtunistan? because i know the nature of my people, the new country will be in hands of talibans, the most powerful people among pashtuns and i hate talibans and other religous terrorists.

It is not the govt it is the state. The state has given extra power to Military due to the fact that majority of Punjab is serving in Military.Govt keeps o changing and got are atleast the representaties of poeple.Military dictators and your secret agencies have ruined your country.Sort them out, everything will fall in place.
Brothers we are, but nor am i naive and neither am i among the innocent

The state hasn't given any power to the military, like i mentioned in another thread it is important to understand the underlying political structure within a nation, how strong the insitutions are and how these insitituions perform without being influenced by personal agendas of politicians.

The reason why military is so powerful within pakistan because :
      1) it is THE ONLY insitituion within pakistan that is strong,
      2) it is the only instituion that is free of corruption,
      3) it is the only instituition that is capable of safe-guarding national interests.
      4) Military intervention within any government is bad, but you can only effectively stop that once your other instituions are strong and corruption free till that happens Army will have to step in from time to time.
These claims....wow.I got where are you coming from.
      1) It is not an institution but the only power.Pakistan is a defacto dictatorial and autocratic state.Every man of conscience should rasie a voice against autocratic , despotic and dictatorial rule.Pakistan is an army with a state not a satte with an army.

      2) You Punjabis have been so much hypnotised by the damn media and "Mutalia Pakistan" that you have lost all sense and touch to reality.MILITARY IS THE MOST CORRUPT INSTITUTION OF PAKISTAN.Read the boos of AYESHA SIDDIQA - MILITARY INCORPORATED.How the hell can 22 grade officers become billionaires. This is only possible in Pakistan.

      3) This is another joke of the millinium.Loosing every war, getting most of the budget and squeezing a third world country and claiming to be safeguarding national interest. You were born yesterday ,dude.

      4) Do not worry Pakistan will never get stabilise and military will keep on intervenign till we get rid of this banana republic and get freedom for a better life.India [with same age] and China [younger to us] are candidates for becoming super power and look at this failed state of these peons of the Brits.

Let me give you some references in next post.Get a god damn education.[/quote:2ja4ksgm]

While I share your concern and hatred for Taliban, let me tell you that they can never either come into power nor can run the state with out the backing of ISI and Pakistanis military. The reason is very very simple.Taliban were sposnored and backed by ISI and Punjab.Theat is why ,as you must have heard in the news,Taliban are the buddies of PML and aagencies against Pakhtuns, once the punjabi elements stop backing them they are just abunch of fanatics who are misguided by the pro establishment parties lik PML,JUI,JI,Tableeghi Jumaat etc.

They consist of innocent Pakhtuns too who were exploited by these Punjabi elements for their own malicious designs.Once we get freedom ,as Bengalis did,we will offer them better education, better future and better life and then they will contribute to the progress and peace of humanity.

              Re: Pakistan debate

Pashtuns nationalists are non-voilent and i fear that they will be able to stop tough fighters like talibans.
PML-N has exposed itself, its statement abt talibans is shocking.

In todays world, you need statcraft skills ,Technology ,Political wisdom and education for governance not physical power. Those days are over when your physical power would make you powerful.

Why would the Pashtuns among Taliban kill other Pashtuns just for no reason. It is because the state backs taliban, brainwash them , pays them and hence deceive them that they have resorted to fight. You cannot kill another muslim for no reasonso how can you kill Pakhtun who are higher in national stature and history andare muslims too.

There is only one thing to be done and that is to identify the enemy. The Waziristan guys have identified their enemy as I had posted in topic "Pashtun's concept of Jihad".Shahbaz Sharif has clarified it that they do not care about Pashtuns even if they belong to PPP and Muslim league or Tablighi Jumaat or JUI or JI or any other.

It is we Pakhtuns who still want to be their servants at the cost of our life.Shame on us.
