Ayub Khan and Yahya Khan were same Khan in the same sense as you claim one by your id.

This means that they were not ethnically Khans but just were khans as a virtue of living in Pakhtunkhwa.Originally Yahya was Agha Yahya and Ayub was from a Qazalbash family migrated from Central Asia.

The source you have pasted considers anyone from NWFP as Pakthun in the territorial sense not in ethnci sense.May I tell you that this copy paste business which you are fond of is considered a lower third level of research methodolgy.So better to argue If you are interested in that then one can copy paste the whole wiki but I think that will not help.I hope you you consider my points seriously,though I dont mind if you neglect them to make yourself happy

you don't have any proof to back up your claims! Provide me the evidence that backs up your silly claim of Yahya Khan and Ayub Khan of not being Pashtuns? So far you have not provided any proof other than your own words.

I am not myself too knowledgable about how Afghans think of Pakistanis, but i was at one of these forums and guys over there seem to hate Pakistan, i dont think even the Israelis hated us as much as they did. So please educate me on that subjectAnd this is a quote from one of the Afghan's on that forum regarding the recent bombing in Lahore

I personally do not hate Afghanis, as a matter of fact one of my best friends ( May his soul rest in peace ) was Afghan so i dont get it how come people in Afghans hate Pakistanis ?

I am constantly noting that there are some imbecelic misconceptions proving the low IQ level which are heard while talking about Pakistanis,Afghans,Punjabis,Pashtuns etc.

Let me clarify it once and for all.

When I say that I hate Pakistan or Punjabis or Mahajirs in a political discussion ,it does NOT mean that I hate the people who are Punjabi speaking or live in what is called Pakistan or any other nation of country.Note that I talk about the ELITE CLASS among the PUNJABI or MAHAJIR or any other nation of country.This elite class consists of MILITARY LEADERSHIP,CIVIL BEAURECOCRACY,BUSINESSMEN,MEDIA AND CLERGY.

So do not waste time in this stupid talk of generalising about any nation or country or race or relgion people.We as Pashtuns are just against those who are against our rights whether they are Punjabis or even from our own nation or Muslims or any color,creed,country or religeon.

I hope it is clear.The sameconcept applies for liking or respecting.Any person of any nation who has knowledge,charatcer,is humanist,kind,beneficial has to be respected.

Well I will be extremely delighted to know that but if you ask me proof then may I also ask for it.Your style and thoughts are totally of a Muslim Leaguer not that of a proud Yousafzai Pashtun who are originally the resident of KABUL and are staunch nationalists with a lot of virtues.Like other Pashtuns ,we say about Yousafzais too:

AQ Khan is not Pashtun.

A Quick google search with hundreds of sources state Yahya Khan was a Qizilbash.just google it dear, or if you want me to provide sources I will.Oh and I will give some importance to what Rokhan says cause so far I have been erifying whatever claims he made.

the only problem with Pakistan is their Goverment.
People like Zandari should to removed fast and the only person that can do that is the Army Cheif (most powerful men in Pakistan)

Sir I couldn`t have been more humbled by your warm welcome, and i couldn`t agree more that it is indeed our government that has sowed the seeds of hatred and distrust among our people. But know this that this same government has done just as much damage to its own country to its own people as it has to the Afghans, i can only hope that our people will be able to overcome these differences because the bond of muslim brotherhood that binds us all is more stronger than any bond of hatred that could make us kill eachother

The state hasn't given any power to the military, like i mentioned in another thread it is important to understand the underlying political structure within a nation, how strong the insitutions are and how these insitituions perform without being influenced by personal agendas of politicians. The reason why military is so powerful within pakistan because it is THE ONLY insitituion within pakistan that is strong, it is the only instituion that is free of corruption, it is the only instituition that is capable of safe-guarding national interests. Military intervention within any government is bad, but you can only effectively stop that once your other instituions are strong and corruption free till that happens Army will have to step in from time to time.

1) It is not an institution but the only power.Pakistan is a defacto dictatorial and autocratic state.Every man of conscience should rasie a voice against autocratic , despotic and dictatorial rule.Pakistan is an army with a state not a satte with an army.

2) You Punjabis have been so much hypnotised by the damn media and "Mutalia Pakistan" that you have lost all sense and touch to reality.MILITARY IS THE MOST CORRUPT INSTITUTION OF PAKISTAN.Read the boos of AYESHA SIDDIQA - MILITARY INCORPORATED.How the hell can 22 grade officers become billionaires.This is only possible in Pakistan.

3) This is another joke of the millinium.Loosing every war,getting most of the budget and squeezing a third world country and claiming to be safeguarding national interest.You were born yesterday ,dude.

4) Do not worry Pakistan will never get stabilise and military will keep on intervenign till we get rid of this banana republic and get freedom for a better life.India [with same age] and China [younger to us] are candidates for becoming super power and look at this failed state of these peons of the Brits.
