Neither as a whole in regard to the people themselves. Everyone is poor as crap just trying to survive. The Panjab and Tajik leadership though, in the forms of Mr. Spanta and Mr. Altaaf Hossein are equally dangerous. The conflicts between the people themselves are based on natural distrust that exists between different ethnic groups squeezed together into relatively close confines. What usually creates trouble is that the leadership will execute some sort of attack that will result in mass casulties on the other side (e.g. the initial assault on the Taliban at Mazar) and in response, the offended will execute brutal unwarranted retribution (when Taliban took Mazar).

Please don't mind if I suggest a correction in your post. Altaf Husain is not Punjabi Leader. He has created Muhajir Qaumi Movement in Karachi. He is equally dangerous to Pashtunes, Punjabies and originally muhajirs from India. He is running a Mafia group in Karachi from London UK.

Just by reading "Afghans" responses the enemy is Tajiks. Look how insecure Afghan Pashtuns get when someone says something about Tajikistani's.

LOL. Pakistanis are blood related to Indians, you telling me the Punjabis customs and culture is not Indianized? Dude, they are the exact same people, Pakistan is India and was always part of India no matter how much Arabising you do, Pakistani culture is no different than Indian culture.

What is wrong with moderated liberalism? you telling me your ideal pashtun state would be a check tick book for Jummah prayers and lashes for those who dont sign in to their local mosque? Everything is good in moderation, Pashtuns were not Muslims once, and we still practice alot of post islamic traditions, and we will continue to flourish, in the case of India and its culture and influence, yes some of it is bad, but to avoid it, is impossible just like how you cant avoid picking fights with Afghans who speak Farsi but love Pakistaniyat.

I think the danger is not India nor tajiks, but people who live abroad dictating how pashtuns should be.

1. Punjabi is not a Qaum. People living in the province of Punjab are called Punjabi. They belong to different ethnic groups.

2. If ethnic statistics are taken in Punjab, you will discover that Pathans/Pashtuns are about 40%. There may be 10% speaks Pashto and 30% are of Pashtun origin but now can not speak Pashto. They are scattered all over the province. Many areas and villages are known as Pathans' villages. Remember that all Pashtuns are not living in Pakhtunkhwa only. More or less is the same situation in Afghanistan.

3. People living in Punjab are not our enemies. You will find them most friendly and accommodating people. It is the politicians who discriminate. But thinking of Pashtun Politician is not different from them. They gain by dividing or taking advantage of the ethnic feelings.

4. If you or some one else has unfriendly encounter with some one from Punjab, should not be generalized as enemies of Pashtuns. Please be open minded and generous in thinking.
