Misplaced sarcasm. Do you think US has won?

Considering that the majority of Afghanistan is controlled by the Taliban and HIG, and not the US or its false government in Kabul, yes, the words of the US are becoming insignificant by the day. just say US, and not NATO. NATO doesn't mean anything.

Well, I guess losing in Afghanistan is an accomplishment?

I didn't say they are winning, but they are a key player still whether talibs gain 90 % of the country or 2 %. Their departure or stay changes how we look at the situation on the ground. I.e. the current government or lack of. NATO, for now, means one of the largest world institutions with a combined military force. They are by no means insignificant. I guess you need to work on your wit and comprehension skills :-).

China, Turkey- two nations whose economies are booming, and who actually benefit rather than exploit others. Look at China's investment in Africa. The world is changing my friend.

better relations with only nations that benefit others.

Why should Afghanistan want to be a part of a failed Capitalistic economic system? Look at their failed economies. Their dollar is finished for good. Read up on Kabul Bank fraud to see who these US and expat officials are defrauding. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/29/wo...er=rss&emc=rss

And deals with a false Afghan government whose control does not extend beyond Kabul are no deals, but means to defraud US, European taxpayers, and true international donors.

If you are under the impression that I am engaging in wishful thinking, please correct it. I by no means am saying US (nato) is a finished army and power. A increasingly insignificant one, YES. Especially, as we see US(nato) aided Libyan rebels being defeated by Qaddafi.

US(nato) was significant years ago before they started their war with the Afghans. They had global significance during Bill Clinton's time. Now, however, especially since the US defeat in Iraq, and their failure in Afghanistan, they are becoming a thing of the past. This is parallel to the Soviets significance to the world prior to starting war with the Afghans, as well as the British before them.

As the so-called nato members are withdrawing, the US is left with no other choice, but to do the same. This is the reason why they continuously reach out for talks with the Taliban, and any talks that will happen will only revolve around their departure.

            nothing else.

As for the say they have in the world? They could not protect Georgia from Russia. They could not stop Mubarak (their friend) from being deposed, and they could not stop China from shooting down their aircraft. They can't stop China from devaluing Chinese currency, and effectively, killing the dollar in the process, so much so that Russia and China have dumped the dollar when it comes to their trade relations between each other.

Much power they have? Ask yourself, why would any nation want to deal with nations whose economies have failed?

^^Read this in todays news. No country even wants their money anymore because they don't want to be linked with weak economies that will drag theirs down too

New World Order might as well be called old world order. Its done along with those ridiculous free Mason retardos.

Turkey is part of NATO, so I don't see why and how you are separating it. Actually NATO has continued its existence post its date. It was an institution that was based primarily on the warsaw pact of the cold war. If one would subscribe to its basic root, then it should have been dismantled. However, it has , I would say unjustifiably so, perpetuated its existence and now is a major apparatus in world affairs. It is now in Libya, Balkans, Afghanistan, Middle-East. Looks like they are keeping themselves relevant.

US has no control over Afghanistan, why do you think India is openly talking to the Taliban, bypassing the 'government' in Kabul? WHy do you think Russia wants to open up a channel with the Taliban? WHy is Turkey warming up to the Taliban?

                ???
Are you sure Ghundak Khan Ghundal? Is that not a wishful thinking on your side, perhaps? Wich workd recognising what?

What you see is was to come anyhow. Russia is an important player and obviously deems is necessary to have an eye on things and crucially over Taliban. It would not tolerate them to come to power of anything. Turkey is also a player and an ideal country that could host talks. I don't understand what warming up really means for you.

on paper Turkey is a member of nato, but what have they done for this us alliance? Two votes in support of the Iraq war failed prior to the 2003 invasion.

They train police in Afghanistan and don't participate in combat activities.

Libya, Im afraid, well here just read this about us-nato accomplishment

Russia is an old foe who understands reality, and has not fallen into the same delusions as before.

Turkey is a nation that wanted to a part of the EU, but was rejected in on the grounds of past grievances against the Ottoman Empire. Today, they do not need to be a part of the EU. Access to failed markets is not attractive at all.

I think it is a good idea for the current regime in Kabul to set up office in Turkey.

I am not involved in wishful thinking. Look, they admit they are failures themselves, not only on Afghanistan, but also in regards to Libya.

American Thinker Blog: NATO admits failure in going for regime change

NATO has been engaged in military action in Libya for the past few weeks, though many are uncertain as to how the operations will pan out. Steven Metz of The New Republic argues that NATO already has a dubious track record — and if things in Libya don't go well, it could be the nail in the NATO coffin.

                      Read both. Very informative.

^^ Is this a global military strategic power?

Iraq wasn't a NATO sanctioned war....none of the major NATO members went bar UK (I don't remember if Spain is one). So your point moot.
I don't know where you are getting accomplishment from, when quite frankly we don't know what these things will entail. Either they will mean someone or not. If NATO pulls out, then probably not.

Let makes this clear, US owns nato. nato is just a tool like the UN.

The point I made if you didn't realize is that Turkey was not a good nato ally of the us since it did not support the US war in Iraq. It did not allow use of its airspace, but Saudi Arabia did.

What type of a nato ally is Turkey to the US and Euro nations when they are engaged in their interventions?

Accomplishment? SHouldn't this superb military alliance have got rid of Qaddafi by now?

let's ask these questions, why hasn't gaddafi gotten rid of gaddafi, by now?. why hasn't he looked after his people?. why hasn't he tried to negotiate with his people? why do outsiders have to come in and babysit failed states?
why are the afghan leaders failing their own people with these disgusting bank robberies?
america and the zionists want un and nato to fail so they can be the only ones in control of everybody. more depleted uranium bombings of more muslim lands, the more they like it.
