This is not only funny but quite strange also that someone from Bannu complained about being oppressed under Pakistan. The members might have some problems due to their personal circumstances, but it is against facts that we have any problem due to being part of Pakistan. We in Bannu never felt being discriminated. In fact, it is the other way around. People from Bannu district occupy top positions in politics, government, army, private organizations, and educational institutions all over the country. In recent decades, we had a President of Pakistan from our soil, many army generals, federal secretaries, heads of federal government organizations, at least three captains of our national hockey team, and many more privileged positions. I personally travel a lot to Punjab and Islamabad, and I am always treated in a dignified manner, and there is not an iota of any visible or hidden discrimination that we face in Punjab or Islamabad.

We have universities including an engineering university, medical college, and other educational institutions of higher education in Bannu. We have a better infrastructure of roads and communication as compared to other districts in KPK and some districts in Punjab.

We feel so honoured and proud being part of Pakistan.

This haris guy is lying. No bannuchi in this forum was anti-pakistani.
Most of the forum members here are citizens of westren countries and have spent their entire lives there.

This is not our style of going to this extent. If you thinks so, then I wish you have a better thinking style. The site moderator can check this and verify, since he has access to IPs of the members. More so, please remember that it is not my style to use indecent words like those you have used, as my environment where I have brought up prohibits me to be indecent, or jump to any conclusion, or make wild guesses and accusations.

Ease up GOE, he has an opinion as do you. If he sees his interests in Pakistan, then he does. I am from Pashtunkhwa and I don't....different people different opinions (for whatever reasons). Quite frankly I have heard this stuff from other folk and have debated them to death, so I don't want to repeat it. All I can say is that when the chickens come home to roost, be sure to know what side you are on.

@Aab e hayat/dino/niazai/marwat, you have an obsession with a passport and maybe that has to do with your utter failure in debating, so you resort to people's passport..if only that was an issue for jinnah lala, if only ;-)

You have not interest in pakistan because you are not a pakistani citizen, you dont live in pakistan...you hold canadian passport. Because of this you can not understand sentiments of those pashtuns who live in pakistan and are proud to be pakistanis.

How can I not understand their sentiment when I lived there, studied there, have family there? Oh and btw don't you see the problem in your post? How do you know what a Pashtun with a Canadian passport feels or thinks about others? Are you one yourself? Ajjb sarrae yaee. How many times have you been schooled in this?

Thank you for your post. I was not debating it, I was only trying to keep the record straight.

I tend to agree with BLS, rather I would say that those sitting outside Pakistan have a deeper sense of feeling when it comes to their own homeland. I say this based on my own experience, as well as interacting with non-resident Pakistanis.

I have pashtun classfellows who have got admission on foriegn seats from america and UK. Though they speak pashto, they have westren influence on them and they are intending to return back to their countries when they complete their studies here. You were like them, admit it.
A member here saifullah is UK citizen and is studying in kmc as a foriegn student.

You want me to admit to something based on your other friends experiences? That makes zero sense. Maybe you leave this while you still can :-).

Bls has neutral and realistic points of views on pakistan because he is not sentimental and emotional about pakistan and doesnt consider it his homeland. Yup he does care about pakhtunkhwa.

Gentleman, may I ask you what makes you upset with Pakistan? If you have had a bad experience at a personal level while I guess you were in Pakistan as a refugee, then I can sympathize with you, though generally the refugees here in Pakistan were treated well. They are still living a comfortable life in posh sector of F-10 in Islamabad, and having good businesses in G-9/4 (Peshawar More). Slavery and oppressions are your own imaginations, utterly devoid of facts. We are first Pakistani and then Pashtuns. By the way, only the moderator has the right to tell us that this forum is exclusively meant for Afghans, and if he does I assure you that this will be my last post to this forum. Once again, I request you to be polite and decent.

Atleast admit it that pashtuns of kp who agree with you, are in extreme minority.

Why do you assume for others? Maybe they have a belief that goes beyond personal experiences and has to do with what they percieve is in the benefit of their nation (Pashtun). It is always very easy to make these tiny claims of personal experiences and refugee, etc...but at the end of the day things are never so black and white. Second of all, it is better to speak for yourself rather than 30+ million people. You clearly don't speak for me, so logically you must speak for yourself.

@AeH, I told you this before, I only speak for myself. If 100 % of Pashtuns back home accept what I believe or 1% it doesn't matter. I don't think a majority believe in what I believe or know...but that is beside the point. Majority didn't even support the creation of Pakistan but that didn't change the course of history.
