to the person asking for clarification i dont think i need to explain how large numbers of uneducated rural-urban migrants bringing with them their own language and culture can hinder mutual harmony.
are you trying to say that Pashtun culture is not suitable?
you need to make a clarification mr this is not time of the british raj and Pashtuns dont need to integrate into your culture.

according to this article, only 2% of all pakistanis pays taxes.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

now you need to clarify this preposterous claim.
are you saying people from pukhtunkhwa are less social and civilised than you?

Gab no society runs like this...even in the west you have the basic education and the highly educated. Either way there is an hierarchy of knowledge, and education.

yeah but if you ask me even basic education in the west is superior to "higher" education of pakistan.

to the guy with the tax post: you will find very few pushtuns working in the service sector here. and i better clarify what i mean here. most are self employed or involved in low paying jobs. in the service sector tax is deduceted at source from the salaries and as i said pushtuns are definitely far, few and between in the service sector.

So then the issue isn't Pashtuns moving to karachi rather the education system of that country, right? Hence your issue should be with the federal and provincial as well as municipal quality of education.

in a country like pakistan only the salaried people pay tax so in karachi which has the most salried people, i guess i can safely say that immigrants from rural areas are taking away resources that taxpayers deserve. and these imigrants are mainly pushtuns. so not only do they not pay taxes, they brought with them a culture and a language new to the city. if it was uneducated punjabi immigrants, i would have had the same issue. so not contributing to the economy and trying to establish a new culture just not sits well with the post 1947 residents of the city. non-pushtun karachiites have done alot for pushtuns (paid for by taxpayers) after the soviet war, a lot of refugees from afghanistan came and settled here. but they didnt ask to have pushtun culture become so common in the city.

Gab your community were immigrants who brought a new language and culture. It is highly unfair that you have made it ok for your community to impose their culture on a sindhi/balochi city, but when Pashtuns come you are not ok with it. It is like the white americans here who are complaining about other immigrants forgetting they were just as imposing. Second of all, the Pashtuns came to karachi prior to partition.

In fact Pushtu is not more alien than Urdu in that region since both Pushtu and Sindhi are Aryan languages.

u see karachi as an island that is disconnected from the rest of pakistan. do u not think that if pakistan created the same opportunities available to karachi in other places such as peshawar or quetta, that there wouldnt be an influx of pashtuns to karachi?
