You should perhaps visit north (Svaneti) than East (Kakheti), i think it is of nicest places.
There are a lot of castles and churches in georgia, that are quiet ancient, also nice nature, so generally every place You go will be full of intresting historical monuments.
If You should go do the south(Javakheti region), where armenians live concentrated, let me know, I can tell you concret places to go to visit and may perhaps find some people who can guide a little, or help You somehow. But first visit all theGeorgian populated places I think.
Look here:

These are the photos of Ivane Goliadze, a great photographer who made pictures of almost whole georgia. So you can choose the places You really like.
In the region where Armenians live the most beautifull is Vardzia, a cave city:

My condition is still rather poor than good so I can forget about long and hectic day trips. I would like to rent a simple room somewhere in a village, spend there one week or so, see the neigbouring area, without any rush or must-visit-things. And the most important, to get to know the people who live there.دلته دم او قدم دواړه په حساب دي - پل په لاره غلط مه ږده بې حسابه

Also what period would you like to go?
Because the Javakhq region s quiet cold and in spring very rainy with a lot of thunders. So best time is like from may to october?
What language will You speak with the people ?
Tell me only what to do and i try to help You if you should have interest in our region, i can tell you approximately where to go and maybe find out all the rest.
But our villages aren't that comfort if you are in bad health, mostly you have to heat with wood, and on the streets there s no light in evening if you go to a village, so you will depend on the daylight for going outside.Ա՜խ, ընկել եմ քար ու քարափ,

That are persian words, we use them too and even more than georgians.Originally posted by ufo973 View PostI had a Georgian friend and i was surprised to find out that many of the Georgian words are similar to Persian language.
Persians had once much influence on the caucasus, like russians or tuks....Ա՜խ, ընկել եմ քար ու քարափ,

I think June or September. But hard to say now with 100% certainty. I still don't know what and where I will be doing after mid June.
What language will You speak with the people ?
I speak some Farsi, Arabic, Urdu and Russian .. I hope that this mixture of languages could be useful. I wonder if the knowledge of Pashto and English could be of use. And of course such a holiday would be a great linguistic experience for me.

Thank you. I will contact through PM if I know more details.

I can easily live without facilities, don't worry, plus I will go with my husband. Honestly, when I wrote about village, I meant a place with very few houses in the wilderness

Ok, let me know in time please, like a month or 6 weeks at least. Also, if it has not to be Georgia i have friends in Armenia who make eco tourism and may help in such occasion.
What is concerning language, among Georgians Russian isn't seen well so much, but still many know it in bigger places, but many however refuse to talk to you in russian, due to a bit bad associations. We Armeenians mostly understand russian, and the youth mostly speeks it well, while older people know often only dialect of Armenian.
Russian and English will help most, and then some of your Farsi to understand the words of the dialect, that uses a lot of turkified Farsi and Arabic words and Turkish words.
Pashto shouldn't be of much help, but if You would go to Ossetian parts it would be sure intresting for You concerning your studies.Ա՜խ, ընկել եմ քար ու քարափ,
