^ lol well thats the point of the video, to teach people who he is. but yeah the video isnt very informative on who he really is but it does point out some of his actions :P so i'll agree with you on the fact that people should look more into it instead of just passing the video on because 'everyone else is doing it' but at the same time that doesnt mean they shouldnt get involved. and i'll be honest i didnt know of this guy before i saw the video but now i know. And yeah, its not the only problem on earth because today theres so much going on in the world today. for example zamong khpal wataan ta wogora, se haal de pa ke >.< for us pashtuns i'd say thats our biggest focus but it doesnt have to be our only one. also it might look like putting up a poster or buying a $10 bracelet is small and incapable of achieving anything but if that number of people all put up a poster or buy a $10 bracelet then it actually can make a difference no? and if a small action like that will get that guy what he deserves then why not, its really the least we could do.

yh 30 minz of a video and suddenly ur a social activist, the world we live in today hmm the hype is just extremly stupid this kind of stuff has been happening in syria, Palestine, Zimbabwe, georgia and so many other parts of the world, so why does it make this so special suddenly...? if your going to argue u didnt no or was unaware of such crimes in da world and how to combat them is just pathetic! aid should alwys be avaiable to those in need respectable of political aims!its a campaign with positive motives yet very shady means! like funding an army to fight for good when they themselves loot and rape... kinda makes u question the integrity of the organization.

and LOL at supporting them buy buying 10 dollar bracelet or sumthin aha! they made 8mil and only like 20 percent went to uganda.. wer did the rest go? most is spent stupidly on propaganda

couse im on such a pissed of rant il include in my edit: the struggle is legitimate but the campaign is brainwashing ppl, summed up its like this... terrorist + oil boom in developing country + make campaign as the reason for the USA to tread on unknown soil = cash and more money!

lol no no! thats not what i meant >.< LOL obviously i knew things like this are going on in the world! i meant i didnt know about uganda and kony specifically. & to answer your question its because this guy made a video about it and posted on youtube. and yes i know there must be hundreds of videos on youtube about other terrible things happening around the world, i know because i've seen them. why this specific one became so famous? i really have no idea. and i think it's kinda weird how literally all of a sudden everyone knows about this video because yesterday i bet no one knew bout it at all:S & yeah yeah i was a little :S about the part about sending american troops. but the way i concluded it is that a lot of americans out there actually do support their military (lol duh) and they let the media make up there mind for them (as terrible as that is) so its nice to see "the media" if you will (though i dont think the actual american media like cnn or fox would play this clip lol) is actually trying to achieve something good for once. basically if they're going to follow blindly, at least this time the thing they want to achieve is actually something good. and dont misinterpret what im trying to say, because i know that its clearly hypocritical the way american troops barge in to countries trying to "police the world" because no one asked for them to come to afghanistan, and as much as they'd like to say that they're trying to help the afghans we all know they aren't but just because we detest their actions, ideologies (etc.) doesnt mean we should discourage them from actually doing something good. but yeah it makes me mad that this has been happening for so long and out of all the people who did knew no one really cared.

& dont make me an example lol you don't know the things i've been involved in to shine lights on things that need to be fixed in this messed up world.

& i forgot you mentioned the money thing. lol i didnt know that only 20% went to uganda. i mean if its not 100% that makes sense because the organization needs money to run too but 20% is really low. & i'm not saying i'd die for these people i just learned about them so i'm still learning when did they make 8mil?
