    Good luck to Afghan brothers.

Even many Bangladeshis have been surprised at how good their team can perform. I hope one day in the future Afghanistan gets full test status and the Bangladesh cricket board supports them in that!

Thanks to Egypt for supporting Bangladesh against Pakistani harassment and support for terrorists and war criminals!!

Afghan bros are doing well in cricket and are improving at a fast pace. In a few years time they will become quite a well respected side.

                            Afghans rock Canada's top order

                            Afghans rock Canada's top
                            order

KABUL(PAN): Afghanistan dominated the hosts on the first of their four-day
match in the Intercontinental Cricket Cup Tournament in King City on
                            Tuesday night.

Canadian team captain Jimmy Hansra won the toss and decided to bowl
first, Shafiqullah Stanikzai, manager of the Afghan squad, told Pajhwok
                            Afghan News.

The national side posted a total of 293 runs off 81 overs, with openers
Noor Ali Zadran and Karim Sadiq cheaply dismissed. However, skipper
Nawroz Mangal and Mohammad Shahzad put up a good show, taking
                            Afghanistan's total to 106.

Stanikzai said over the telephone from Canada that Mangal was dismissed
for 28 and Shahzad for 56. Nabi and Asghar Stanikzai also failed to put up
                            any resistance.

However, Shinwari and Ashraf played well, lending a measure of
respectability and strength to the visitors' position. They enabled the team
to post a 293-run first innings total.

Shinwari chipped in with 70 runs and Mirwais Ashraf 48, with Hamid Hasan
shattering Canada's top order. He captured four wickets before the close
of play, leaving him with the impressive figures of 4/12 off six overs.

Mangal told Pajhwok they had arrived in Canada hours before the match
and had no time for practice and rest. Praising his boys, particularly
Shinwari and Mohammadi, he said Hassan had once again demonstrated his
                            class as a bowler.

Holders Afghanistan, Scotland, the Netherlands, Ireland, Canada, the
United Arab Emirate, Kenya and Namibia are participating in the
Intercontinental Cup Tournament that began last month in Canada.

Can anyone translate that into English?
I don't understand all this cricket language lol.

So did the Afghans do well or not?
