I kept wondering why my Pakistani colleagues kept cheering during work, later on I found out that was because India was losing in cricket, LOL. And even funnier was when Indian colleagues came to work they (Pakistanis) acted as if they found it a shame. :P

Pakis and Indians are cousins...same blood, same language, same food, same life-style and taste....this show of enmity is all superficial ....Here I argued with a bunch of Pakis and Indians (Sikhs and Muslman Punjabis from Paskistan) and both took a united stand ...the point being Punjab once under Rajit Singh conquered all the area upto Kabul and humbled Pashtun...My point was they controlled only Peshawar but the Punjabi/Paki pride was too much for them to accept any thing less than Kabul...

The astonishing thing was, a south Indian and a Bangali were also approving of their stand....so the common Indic stand...

Fantastically, they get along very well here...So this is all superficial....As much the foundations of Pakistan are false so much are these pretentions of mutual enmity...

Many people posting here are not Pashtuns e.g. KingKhan, etc.

Haha, that's something you can always expect.
Like there is a very common 'SMS' these days which says: 'All my life I've supported two teams, one is Pakistan and second is any team playing against India' :D :D

Alaka chrtha khalisai wala kho na yai ... ? This kind of loyalty to Pakistan have I only seen in the Khalisa area i.e., the people around Wadpaga, Tarojaba, etc. that are bilingual in Hindko and Pashto...

Anyhow, when you raise slogans of Pakistan zinda bad and India murda bad on this very sport forum and castigate people only because they think Indian team is better,then that sounds politics....

Now the politics is obvious ... I should favour Afghan team because I am an Afghan even if that team is bad....and you say it is just sport...If it is just sport, you should have no issue me praising Indian or any other team
out of sportsman spirit (and not that filthy Paki or any other patriotism)...
