Question for Pakhtuns of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa?

yeah but pukhtunkhwa is our identity as other provinces had their suitable names...
so we also needed a name ... this name at least will not hurt anyone in the country ... now we should strive for protecting and promoting our values and rituals ,,,,
roads, hostpitals, jobs etc are common things to do ... every nations needs them punjabi, sindhi, balochi any.... but being a pukhtun we should also promote our culture and strive that... and we should not compromise on our cultural values and rituals on other materialistic things ...

Khyber Pakhtunwkha is a a part of Pakistan.

That is undeniable. That is its official status and it is not disputed territory like Kashmir (as yet).

I don't really take the referendum in 1947 very seriously, but i do think if Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa citizens did not consider themselves Pakistani, or hated being Pakistani, then ANP would have done a lot better in the last election.

The fact is no popular movement exists currently and there is an acceptance of being part of Pakistan. It may change, and in my opinion, the Durrand Line will get deleted at a point in the future.

It is expected for KP Pakhtuns to turn their back on destroyed Afghanistan and face towards developed Panjab. There is no place in Afghanistan that has anything close to the development that KP has. Panjabs policies destroyed most of Afghanistan during the civil war from 92-96. The motives behind such policies was to destroy any inspiration for KP pashtuns to separate from Pakistan either as a separate entity or union with Afghanistan.
You can see the effects of their policies as ANP has given up on separation all together and when you hear average pakistani pashtuns such as Shabaz and others like him speak.
But what Shabaz and like him dont see is that those policies are now destroying Pakhtunkwa hence the "conjoined twin theory." What happens to one will happen to the other.
