  • The founder of Afghanistan is Nadir Shah Irani, not Ahmad Shah Abdali

In my opinion Afghanistanis should celebrate Nadir Shah of Iran as founder of their nation, they should call him "Nadir Shah Baba" or Baba-i-Qaum. Ahmad Khan Abdali was personal servant of Nadir Shah. According to Tarikh-i-HussainShahi (1798), Nadir Shah pierced the ears of Ahmad Khan and remarked, "When you become a king, this will remind you of me". Ahmad Khan was the only one who remained loyal to Nadir Shah at end and fought in anger against those who assassinated his master. Ahmad Shah decalared himself successor of Nadir Shah and made claim on Punjab, Sindh and other areas as successor of Nadir Shah. The backbone of his army were former Nadirid troops and his entire military was organized along the same lines as his master's. He even used the same military tactics.

One can say that without Nadir Shah Afshar, there would have been no Kabuli kingdom/Afghanistan. Its criminal of Afghanistanis to forget about real founder of their country. They should call him Nadir Shah Baba with respect.

Modern day Afghanistan was created by agreements between the Russian and British Empires long after the death of Ahmed Shah. Nadir Shah would not have been successful in India without the assistance of Afghans. If he had failed to convince the Abdalis to join him, the two sides would have continued to bicker. Nadir's decision to bring the Afghans close to him, which is what made him powerful, in the end killed him because his own Quizelbash thought he was giving too much to the Afghans.
Empires are not made by one man, they are made by alliances and balance of power.

This is pure bootlicker nonsense ..... It wasn't Ahmad Abdali's plan, he joined a foreign invader and served him as his loyal servant. He wasn't even apart of the revolt that killed Nadir Shah Afshar, if he was planning it all along then there would have been evidence he was scheming against Nadir Shah ....but even till the end, he was loyal to Nadir Shah.

Nadir Shah was the inheritor of the Safawi Empire, he wasn't a Safawi but he bore allegiance to Abbas III the last Safawid Prince. He overthrew the Pashtun Hotakis from Kandahar on behalf of Safawids.

Please stay quiet Black Pakistani , your Pashtun LARPING doesn't mean you can comment on Afghan history.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Mirweis never united the Afghans. He was too busy in Western lands. What made Abdali successful was his alliance with Nadir Shah which freed resources that were used toward the conquest of India.

Mirwais did unite Afghans, his son and Nephew however were too preoccupied with Isfahan and trying to rape Iranian women.

Mirwais was honorable though, he just overthrew the Safawids and pushed them out of Afghan land.
