I think he could be Pashtun, but I'm less inclined to believe he's from Afghanistan in particular. The only thing that I have strong reservations about are why his mom/sister or whoever are wearing Pakistani/Hindi Kali in the photos. Otherwside physically they look pretty Afghan and so does his father.Typically women wear indian clothes at a mehman or mela not typical family photos.

Seeing him in different lighting just makes him look more like a gandumi Afghan ...in fact I know an Afghan guy who runs a take out place here who looks very similar to him.

His dad or whoever that guy is in the back looks like an Afghan man as well. He looks like Gulbuddin Hekmatyar without a beard actually.

as for pictures of women ......okay maybe the village Pashtun are like as you described , but these days the average small town or city Pashtun doesn't care. If you come to New York, at all the Afghan Mela, women are being photograped, videoed and so on and this is among Kandaharis who are the majority.

My verdict, he could still be Afghan but I'm more inclined to say he's probably a Pakistani Pashtun from like Multan or Dera Ismail Khail, just on account of the fact his mother/sister are wearing Pakistani clothes in a Family photo. If it was a mehman or mela, then it wouldn't seem as strange

Because I have seen people like his family back home and in New York and DC area.

However, I still believe he's somehow connected to Killzai/Black Pakistani because .....Black Pakistani also knows Danish.
How does that even connect me to being related to killzai? That i know danish? If that's the case, then all pahstuns are connected to killzai, in Denmark.

That statement doesn't makes sense. I know danish, that's it. The only connection i have to him is that i responded to his comments/saw some of his videos and that's it.

And no, we aren't paki pahstuns but kandahari. My mom and sister are wearing that kind of clothes because we were in holiday in India.

I done that because you guys asked about it and it's PF, not some big site, so not many people to upload my pic, except pakton(he gives me a feeling about him being a weirdo), so i kinda trust you guys a little.

But yeah, you're right. I shouldn't had send them here. I'm going to remove them, when it's all clear.

Also, some of those girls are not wearing hijab in a public place (and even the ones that are are not wearing a full hijab), so it’s pretty obvious that the family is not one that maintains satr to the degree that khushal is talking about. And there are plenty of families like that (I even know families from my own village that don’t wear hijab let alone do satr) in the West, so I definitely wouldn’t doubt them being Pashtun for that reason.

If I had to guess, I’d say they’re either mixed (not necessarily first generation of mixed, maybe a great grandmother or something), or maybe Niazis Punjabis. I also feel like the pic with all the kids (not the one in the bowling alley) might be of a different family altogether.

All that said, Traveller is right that sharing pics of people in the internet without permission is not okay. Even if they’re not fully practicing satr or hijab, I highly doubt any of those girls (or boys for that matter) want their pictures out in public on the internet, or for a bunch of guys judging them based on how Indian they look or don’t.

Jama/killzai’s friend put his photo up by his own volition (assuming killzai actually told the person in those pics what he was going to use them for), but everyone else didn’t give their permission, and you should probably take them down for that reason.

I would care and I’m a dude. I still wouldn’t want anyone putting my photos out in public without my permission. Imagine how much worse it is for girls given all the creeps out there. That Bengali guy is probably PMing jama and asking him to hook him up as we speak.
Yeah, you're right, they are mixed family, but we're all ****ing afghan pahstuns.

You asked for evidence, i gave you them. It's annoying being associated with killzai/punjabis/pakis here.

Also, now bengali? Like what? WHo's the next one going to be?

        • And guys, the reason we took the pic, is because we were having fun and we asked some people working over there to take the pic of us, so we could have something to remember.

The pics you're talking about are the ones with girls doing a pose, duck face and having tight close, while being in the mature age. These are the pics you're talking about.

And the ones being mature are the ones with the hijabs. Some younger ones got hijabs too(even though they don't cover rest of their bodies, but that's the case of almost all/majority muslims, they cover their heads but not the rest of their bodies). And we were having fun only. We didn't send the pic to anyone but us/our friends. This is the first time the pics have been send to anyone we don't know.

          And i removed them.

          • No one said you're Punjabi.....but I am more convinced than ever that you're associated with Killzai/Black Pakistani

Because I KNOW you read and understand English but you keep responding in a way that comes off as gaslighting .....Random people that know Danish don't come to this page ....only Killzai/Black Pakistani and you.

And The picture is no big deal, most Afghans in the West take pictures like that. It's not a "shock" or great moral travesty.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

              • I don't typically find the name Durrani used among Modern Day Afghans, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist but I find it more common among Pakistani Pashtuns from areas closer to Punjab like Multan and such.

I don't really care what you are but you're associated with some trolls ...and that needs to get called out.

Im not on facebook or other social media so I don't really know what goes on there. I find those platforms as people creating mostly a fake persona or life and then showing it off to others and then a competition comes into play, The "I look better than you or I have a better life than yours or I am happier than you." Its about creating this illusion and the computer savvy people create the best illusion. Even Mark Zuckerburg was surprised that people would share their personal life to the world for free and called them dumbfcks. But the reality is that people like to show off to other people about how perfect or great they are, it's an escape from their low self esteem and Mark Zuckerburg figured out a way to make a business out of it screwing a Jew in the process where stereotypically it's the other way around.

But if youre right and it is the majority, then that would be the case in Samandris land as well because people are people, dumbfcks are dumbfcks no matter where you go.

Many Panjabis use the surname Durrani as well. People use these names like Syed to try to get respect from the rest of the population and claim some kind of legitimacy.

Yep, you're right, It's all rooted in this desperation rooted in the culture's mass psychosis of overcompensating for inadequacy. There are Afghan girls who have "Beauty and Make Up Channels" , Afghan guys trying to be low rent thugs and rappers.

Recently, this Kandari guy asked my advice about some sports car trying to get ....like an RX7 , because he wants to look slick in his Instagram....and that's just the trivial stuff, it's the mental framework that drives this attitude that is the most alarming.

well to be fair, the Durranis did have a lot of wives from those areas, when they branched out and became governors of those regions. It's hard to know who is who. But I agree, lot of phonies that hijack prestigious names in S. Asia.

I don't think Jama is one of those though, he has a distinct look that is more Pashtun than desi.

                        • Jama, if you are telling the truth and have nothing to do with killzai, then you shouldn’t get worked up over this forum. This forum is sort of a relic from an older time, where most of the internet was pretty mean-spirited and flaming was normal.

The thing is no one attacked your family, or even you for the most part. We suspected you were killzai or had some relation to him (and I still do), but ultimately you know whether or not that’s true, so why be bothered by people who don’t know you?

If you look at those accounts, some of them have been around since 2012, so either they’re legit or killzai is more dedicated to his trolling than I thought.

By the way, Multan is in Punjab, and in my experience Durrani Pakistanis are usually Punjabis (and yeah some of them could have legit ancestry). I think there’s a law or something that dictates that all Pakistani Pashtuns have “Khan” as their last name.

Who fed you that non-sense?. Its not law or obligation, its tradition to have Khan as middle name. Afghanistani Pashtuns also used to have Khan as middle names. But their traditions have been greatly interfered with and corrupted by their governments in 20th century.

Its not like life style and culture of Khushal and other Western-Pashtuns is much different from yours. In fact American ones are most detached from their roots and are quick to dissolve into American society. They laughed at you and said you look like a desi/Indian and you succumbed to pressure without raising a question whether they themselves have Pashtun physiognomy. In all likelihood their families are more mixed with other races (Muslims of different countries as well as non-Muslim Negros, Europeans and Latinos) than the ones in Europe. There are no concentrations of Muslims let alone Afghan any where in America. There is not a single street on America where more than three Afghan families are immediate neighbors of each other. Afghan girls there are not going to easily find Afghan boys and vice versa and thus they end up marrying people of different races.
