You will find a variety of looks among Pashtuns within the same family. I have seen families where the parents are dark and have Euro-passing kids and vice-versa. Not a big deal. Obsessing over such matters is against our culture!

I used to have that impression too but as my generation of Pashtuns has gotten older, I've noticed that a lot of us don't grow full beards until well into our 20s. But pictures from other parts of the world don't seem to match that.

Brothers Pashtuns come in all shapes and sizes nowadays. Maybe in the past some tribes were considered taller than others so on and so forth, but there have been so many mixed marrriages that these things are almost obsolete. I personally think Pashtuns do not have particularly impressive physiques on the whole at all. They just come in all shapes and sizes.
