Better to kneel before the holy, than another human being.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Reason for afghans being racists is white worshipping/influence. Brown people being racist against each other is just toxic mudslinging so one side feels better about themselves.

Honestly, I would probably put Pashtuns on the low end of delusional pride. Real life Pashtuns are certainly not as racist as everyone on this forum lol.
I suppose I am employing the term differently. Pashtuns, in my experience, regardless of where they live take pride in their attan, ability to speak Pashto, and actually practice various aspects of the culture with a great sense of responsibility.

Iranians, from my experience, are the first to drop their culture, not speak in Farsi, etc. I've come across enough Pashtuns born in the USA, and they each have a great deal of pride in their culture. I can't say the same for Iranians, who even have western names, despite being Muslims, just to fit in better. Whereas the Pashtuns have names like: Pashtun, Pashtana, etc.

                        Just an unfurnished thought.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

My experience is different. The Iranians I know do tend to be more westernized, but I think that's probably something in their culture. Other than that, they usually know Farsi. For some reason, except for a few that I know (less than 10), they tend to hate Islam. They believe Islam benefited off of their culture, but they didn't gain much in return. They lament that they got defeated by a number of places... worst being Iraq (really bothers them that it happened). They love their history though. They stress that they have a culture outside of Islam. Enough of them do think they're superior.

I think some of them tend to be too arrogant, which if justified is fine. Many are against my interest as it stands today. They're generally pro-India and have undue influence on your kin . A possible reason for that may be the Shia Sunni divide.

Would be interested hearing others' thoughts on this too.

The thing about the Iranians I know is that even when they get very westernized and pretty much abandon everything about their culture other than holidays, they still brag about how amazing their culture and history is. Granted I don't know a lot of Iranians, especially not religious ones, but the ones on the internet seem to fit this mold too.

One thing to remember is that most of the Iranians living in the west (or their parents) came here to escape the Islamic Revolution. So they grew up in the nationalist cultures that were being pushed by the post colonial Muslim governments, most of which sought to marginalize the cultural impact of Islam. I imagine Persians in Iran are probably more positive towards Islam.

The hatred for Islam is pretty hilarious though. The reality is Persians have been Muslim longer than they were Zoroastrian, and Islam helped to spread aspects of Persian culture better than any previous Persian empire. The whole nature of Persian nationalism is pretty weird, as the Achaemenids were actually very accepting of different peoples, especially compared to other nations on the time. They didn't impose their religion on anyone, and in fact they were the ones who freed the Jews and paid for the Second Temple (Cyrus is even called a Messiah in the Bible for it). They didn't impose their language either, and in fact used Aramaic as the official language of their empire. So if anything, Islam actually helped spread the Persian language better than the preceding Persian empires.

"Brown" and "White" are terms invented by your colonial Anglo masters. We Dont use such term to classify people.

The only white worshippers are you people. Your country is riddled with racism based on Skin color/caste.
