In the West pale people are made fun of, because being pale is seen as a sign of staying indoors too much, and not being outgoing (probably also because some pale populations, like Irish people, have negative stereotypes and used to be discriminated against).

I have a theory behind this.

I think it's a cultural thing, and it's one of the ways our ethnic group has grown large.

Think about... we had minimal interest in literary, artistic, or philosophical things... but when it comes to war etc, we're very interested. As a result of this, it's almost ingrained in us to be a bit racist.
