Sometimes we put the "a" after a word colloquially, usually masculine. Like Alak turns into Alaka, Angrez to Angreza, Dalkhor to Dalkhora. It's colloquial/slang. "Aay Dalkhora, shabah da fair and lovely waala, 100 rupai pa kilo" <- This would be a fine example of such a thing.

lol @ nanga and the correct word is barband. Sometimes they make hindus naked, and sometimes white people. That's what he was trying to say... don't listen to his excuses.

I am myself guilty of this sort of thinking but when you give time and effort understand other people's religions, you can make more sense of their rituals. Most people however aren't bothered about the truth or reasons behind things and just want to get one up on others. I am not saying what they do is right or wrong but where they are coming from and at least be respectful even if what they do is wrong.

There are a few sayings of Hazrat Ali (ra) which talk about silence being the best reply to idiots and to only speak when your words are better than silence. I am not implying that you stop speaking your mind, all I am saying is we as muslims hold ourselves to a higher standard so we shouldn't stoop to their level even if they insult us. I know everyone is different and have their own methods of dealing with things. Fire can only be extinguished by water not more fire. Silence doesn't imply weakness and aggression doesn't always imply strength.

I banned Karachi for 2 weeks for his behaviour, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. This forum encourages free speech and if we were to strictly follow islamic teaching, then we shouldn't allow posting of music, certain images with female hair showing etc either. This is Pashtun forums and not Islam forum, people of all beliefs are welcome here as long as they discuss things in a civilized manner. Islam is much more open to free speech than people would think.

I am not aware of such a thing so I would take your word for it but I have a hard time believing that a religion like Hinduism would have a God who rapes or encourages rape. This reminds me of Islamophobes who quote Quranic verses out of context to say killing kufar is always allowed without understanding the context of the verse.

Yes Ali RA had a few sayings about being silent, sure, but there's other sahaba that were very vocal and defensive. Anyway how can one be active on a forum and also be silent? I mean ok if the abuse against Islam was limited to a few threads maybe we could be silent but when the Islamapheobia extends to every thread and every other post then what? Just be silent and give them the house? Which is the exact case here.

Ok your water and fire anology is subjective.. Sometimes when people bring fire you give twice as much fire back and their little flame soon dies out lol..Look I'm not trying to get cheeky (so to speak) I appreciate what you are saying there is wisdom in your approach but I believe there is some core flaws which are negligible in your reiterated philosophies here; Your saying to ban people cursing our religion and spewing Islamopheobic rhetoric would mean to ban things unislamic here like music and so fourth, as if to say this vulgarity we are speaking of displayed by the non-Muslims here ganging up and using this as a haven to scare away any new Muslim members is counted under free speech? you've got it twisted bro, what I said was in the Quran we are told to avoid gatherings where our religion is mocked, you can easily stop this and you not taking bigger measures in fear of this forum being changed to islamforums is not an acceptable excuse.. Im not against reasonable debate in correct contexts, we are encouraged to participate in them. If anyone was sad enough to check out 'who started what' I'm pretty sure they would conclude that Muslims abuse is merely backlash and in defence to disrespectful islomapheobes that do not have any manners in talking about our belief system..and they are greeted back with the same level of conversation.

I believe this paragraph is suited more for you than me. But hey, each to their own.

Prophet Muhammad(saw) didn't eat Beef because it was of limited availability in his region because cows are probably not indigenous to Arabia. However, they fall under the category of animals that are permissible to eat and there's no evidence that moderate consumption of red meat causes any significant health problem if you eat a balanced diet.

Not sure why this is even a thread.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Dalkhor isnt as negative term as people make it out. Its just a humourous (light negative) term to describe vegetarian people (mainly Indic people). And since Indians and Pakis eat vegetable food mainly, Afghans invented the term to describe Indians in a humourous way (although it was also used negatively)...

Its kinda like Gringo (mexican term for Americans) or cameljockey (Arabs)

What? Who told you this? So off the mark.

Dalkhor is a negative term. Much like Gringo and cameljockey. These words are not lightly negative, they are proper negative.

As another user pointed out, Pakistanis eat meat.

Afghan ethnic group aka Pakhtuns (not just citizens of present day Afghanistan in case that's what you were going for) did invent the word specifically to insult Punjabis. Not indians, but Punjabis.

Dalkhor is an insult to the sikhs primarily because they love yakking on about poonjabiness. They also love putting the word dal on everything. Look at this: Dal Khalsa (International - Wikipedia)

And also this (I have screenshotted this definition incase someone changes it): List of ethnic slurs - Wikipedia

"An Urdu/Persian term used for Indians and Pakistanis (specifically Punjabis) by Pashtuns. The term literally translates to "dal eater", connoting the supposedly higher emphasis on pulses and vegetables in the diet of countryside Punjabis.[89]"

They call Punjabi's dhalkor because of the old wives tale that apparently they feel no shame in farting, dhaal gives the same result of eating too many beans. Farting is seen as a major thing, used in a derogatory manner.

Actually punjabi would die for dall plate. They really love it, it's not only in rural areas or poor people, the top brass official love eating dall. I am spending days and night with them. I am working in a field, and recently our mess incharge become punjabi, we are served two varieties of food per meal. The new incharge made one compulsory dall plus second either dall halem, dall chana, dall gusht almost everything have dall.
