I am not a hindu, but yes I am discovering my Indian and even hindu heritage more and more, it's a beautiful heritage which is erased from the paki mindset on purpose by muslim mullah culture. The funny thing is, Egyptians, Iraqis, Iranians etc... all of them love their pre Islamic heritage, yet we South Asian muslims on purpose were made to forget our Indic/Vedic/Hindu/Buddhist heritage by muslim radicals, we were brainwashed to the bone, including me. But I am glad I am waking up, hopefully all South asian muslims will wake up

2 things. 1, Pakistani Muslims hate Hindus because Indiots are Hindus. No other reason. 2, I wish the Sikh thread I started was still up. Unless anyone can prove otherwise, the most logical thing for the word dal-khor is because sikhs love to talk about how punjabi they are, and concurrently they also happen to be obsessed with dal. Indians have made countless contributions to civilization, invention of surgery, the use of number zero without which modern mathermatics wouldn't be possible. There are countless other contributions if one bothers to look up. All socities have good and bad in them and I don't agree with Karachi's recent tirade against certain groups of people but responding like that only makes them feel, they were correct that muslims, Pakistanis, Pashtuns etc are narrow minded. Maybe if more Pakistanis were like Karachi who embrace their past rather than try to be the descendents of Arabs and Persians, they might have less unnecessary problems with India.

You mention health benefits as if it supersedes religious obligations, as if to disregard the fact that hindu's count cow urine as holy and divine. There's a big difference. In Islam we can even eat pork if it is medicinal and there is no alternative and a last resort.
