While I understand we have many trolls from Pakistan who have these weird psychosis of denying their Indic heritage. We seem to have devolved into ethnic smear campaign, mocking people's physical appearance

We should fear Allah(swt)'s ghadhab (ghazab/khafa) as Nabi(saw) warned us about mocking other's physical appearance.

These discourses are not productive, they're no longer about trying to "shock" a few brainwashed Pakistani Nationalists into some awakening and more now just a pretext for self deluded Afghan Nationalists and some other varieties of trolls to obsess about moronic and vain topics, like eye color, skin complexion and height.

I say this as I am as responsible for contributing as anyone else, but as that is the case, I'm also responsible for calling it out and making efforts to put a stop to it.

We'll need to answer to Allah(swt) for the things we project into this world and this includes the nonsense with spew here on the forums.

A people's merits or value isn't based on whether they're Aryans or Dravidians, whether they're "tam tor" or "taka spina". It's based on who they are, the values hey hold, the principles they live by, the hard work and struggle they endure to live.

I would rather have 100 dark brown, short Desis that are sincere Muslims, than 1 Lost, Islam-hating, corrupt Pashtun, that thinks he's some chosen race because he has Green eyes and is above 6 foot tall. Thankfully I've been blessed to find wonderful Muslims all over, among Pashtuns, Indians, Pakistanis, Turks, Tajiks, Albanians, Iranians, Africans ...even recently met a Japanese Muslim convert at an local Muslim lunch gathering.

As Muslims we should be an example to others, but we've become a mess precisely because we allow ourselves to devolve into nonsense.

In Afghanistan, no one talks about darker being bad, in fact someone who is "Beyrish" or "Paimakh" is often seen as girly and soft, not masculine. While it's true that women are often idealized for being white. But girls who are "gandumi" meaning wheatish are seen as desirable too. Kuchi women are often gandumi and highly revered by Pashtuns and Tajiks alike.

Personally I prefer women who are gandumi, not excessively, but medium. But If she was really dark like Indians or Africans or really white like Russians I wouldn't find fault in it.
