About these so-called Pashtuns; although Toramana is not actually Pashtun; he speaks Pashto brilliantly, I actually enjoy his Pashto. His hamsaya ancestors lived with Pashtuns and served Pashtuns well as their subordinates. But he is very irreligious and holds a great deal of resentment towards Islam, not sure why...but that's what I grasp from him. maybe it's because he wonders why God would give him the fate of being a hamsaya when Islam preaches equality.

As for some other members, well some of these guys are just Wannabes, As you saw AFB has a deep seated self-hatred and inferiority complex. Which also confuses me because if he is a Sayyid, I would imagine he would be more proud of that than wishing desperately that he was Pashtun, since being a Sayyid is greatly reputed. Maybe he's a phony Sayyid too?

but this all relates to a complex people have about themselves, they hate feeling like they're from the "conquered" group and want to feel like they're from the conquerors. This would explain why Toramana presents himself as Pashtun, despite being a hamsaya paracha, why AFB claims he's Pashtun despite being a Tajik-Mongol etc etc mixture. and so on, Why a a Bangladeshi tries to hint that they're descendants of Sher Shah Suri's soldiers.......
You have to forgive Toramana because in Pakistan ANP is pathan nationalist party but doesn't discriminate based on caste or creed. So anyone speaking pashto is pathan in Pakistan and many of them are ANP nationalists. Especially in cities where I guess most paracha pathans live.

Also proper parachas are not servants but more like punjabi sheikh or khatris, they are quite sucessfull traders actually. He just need to accept his hindu khatri origins.

But I don't understand tajikfootball. He can't speak pashto, he's clearly not pathan ethnically either so why he go out of his way to become one? He never let go any oportunity to abuse tajiks and arabs. Ironically he also abuses Pakistani pathans for not being proper pathans.

I actually like Tajiks so don't badmouth them; many good Muslims among Tajiks and even the Saints in Pakistan like Data Ganj Bakhsh or Muhiyuiddin Chishti are Tajiks in origin. When I say things about AFB it's not to denigrate Tajiks, but just to remind AFB that his pretend act at being Pashtun has no credibility.

AFB thinks being an obnoxious loudmouth is his way of trying to trick others into believing he has Pashtun credibility. He's following the dog who barks the loudest approach.

Modern day Parachas maybe doing well but their humble origins will still get them ridiculed. I actually didn't know what a Paracha was until I came to this forum. In Afghanistan, most hamsaya are Tajik

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Proper parachas are historically traders and educated. In punjab their counter parts khatris were known as baniya who used to trick simple minded land owners. I don't think proper parachas have any reason to feel inferior unlike historically servant types who serve land owners.

He just happen to speak pashto like afghani pathans in punjab speak punjabi like natives. He shouldn't be ashamed of his true origins.

I guess in Pashtun areas, Parachas became servants....it happens. It's not a new story that South Asian become subjugated by invaders beyond the Indus River.

              Something doesn't add up tbh
Most Paki Pashtuns went to school in Pakistan, most Afghan Pashtuns are raised or even born in the west from young age. But how many Paki Pashtun are even here?

Maybe becuase he is from Paktia and speaks his village Pashto, most people also have hard time understanding Khost Pashto from the remote villages, for some it even sounds gramaticaly incorrect and weird.

"some other having written pages of pages of useless sitting in Islamabad".......he is talking about me and my history articles, he is previously said the same thing to me on number of occasions.

So by "Marwat" he doesnt mean me (he does not call me 'Marwat"). I know you were on good terms with this turd, thats why i asked.

@Toramana is the one who popularized the notion on internet through Pashto.org and PF that Marwats are Jats and that they wear dhotis like Punjabis, other nationalists from upper districts of KPK have picked it up from him. When you repeat the non-sense countless times, people assume it to be truth. There was this Marwat guy on this forum from Serai Naurang, "Levanay Zalmay", an atheist and secular anti-pakistani, he was on the same page as toramana.... even he got offended by the anti-marwat rantings of toramana. You might think that i must have riled him up to say such things.....but he had said the same things to Omar Khan (owner of khyber.org) on Pashto.org before my arrival. Thats why i patch up things with others, but not him.

Proper prachas never became servants. Its ok you are not that familar with Pakistan. Their counter parts in punjab are richest people. They are stereotyped to be very kanjoos and money hungry, so when someone have to mock them jelous people will call them kanjoos.

I also used to think kammi people in punjab are subjugated, slaves similar to Africans etc But I had time to think through it. Even servants types work on their own to earn money. No one really forced them to work. When landowners used lay stones for some new town centuries ago, they used to bring along with them servants types and artisan types. Along with them came trader comunities like paracha.

Now these servant types have many other means to prosper instead of depending on land owners. Many of their position have been taken over by Afghani pathans who are cheaper to hire in smaller punjab towns.

people say Pakistani muslims have forced christians to be sweepers, thats just bs. They just happened to belong to comunty who were sweepers historically, no one really forced them. Now many of christians are also found up to FATA doing same jobs.
