I believe in Allah because of the world, universe and signs all around me. I fear him because we have been ordered to fear him.

A murderer and thief will eventually come out of hell, but one that dismisses the Quran and doesnt acknowledge Allah as God will be there forever. You are giving the big tough talk, we shall see if you are brave enough when the time comes for the soul to leave that well fed body of yours.

I'm sure Satan doesn't have guilt for believing in what he believes either, the similarities are uncanny.

Believe what you want to believe if it makes you feel better, facts remain the same. I am dismissing Huou, not Quran or allah. Know the difference.
who dismissed Quran and allah?? I am dismissing you and what you said. Know the difference.

I didnt tel you what you should you. Last time I did that was when stopped posting links to mental health institutions in Toronto. I haven't done any such a thing since.

and I told you to find a pretty dress and practice the snake dance until you have mastered it. After which, you stopped communicating with me which I translated to your copping mechanism with failure of doing what you were told to do so. You don't see me pulling a chair and tapping my feet impatiently now that you got your speech again.

None of your da-mn business. Why do you care and what relevance does our religiosity or lack thereof have to the discussion at hand?

have you gained or lost interest in Islam over the years?

For me I was pretty religious few years ago, and I was almost a mullah

Translation from Karachi insinuation into what it really means: "You've noticed I constantly broach the discussion of marriage. I thought if I acted like a cultural Muslim I could get a wife easy as 1,2,3.

some 10 years ago. Today however I am pretty much secular,

Translation: But it didn't work out. All the girls rejected me and all the families thought I was a fool. I blame God for not being the ultimate Wing Man.

of course I do believe in God and a creator and I do like some good things in Islam and other religions.

Translation: I noticed that Canadian girls responded a bit more when I shaved the whispy "mullah" beard and took off the skull cap style hat I had started to think was my "trademark." Maybe I should focus my efforts on winning the love of Jennifer (generic white girl name was needed and Jennifer is the easiest to use here and adds entertainment value.

However overall as a religion Islam is a very big burden, especially considering most muslims dont even know which version of Islam to follow,

Translation: Even though I know full well madhabs and 6 canonical hadith collections as well as fiqh and sunnah have been regionally defined for centuries I had to reprogram my brain. After all, Jennifer drinks beer and wine and its a huuuuge turn off if she notices I have issues with that. She might decide I am not as cool and culturally unique as I have been leading her on about.

we have so many sects, I am just about Sunnis here. The (violent) and (intolerant) parts of Islam have distanced me from this religion,

Translation: Jennifer thinks the guy I used to look and dress like is code appearance for terrorist. In fact when shes slamming back the 40s and getting hammered she goes on and on about some Arab guy that treated her like crap years ago and she thinks the one night stand wasn't due to the fact that her looks are moderate at best but because the guy was a terrorist. I better be careful... Jennifer seems to imply terrorist is synonymous with brown skin color. The whole Muslim and Islam thing is a huge liability in my attempts to reproduce and dilute my progenies melanin expression.

no one can deny these parts of Islam or any other Abrahamic religions for that matter. Today I am actually happier in life, since I dont have a burden of belief on my shoulders,

Translation: I started to text with Jennifer and one thing led to another and though we still aren't officially dating, I am her go to "friend." Yes, she always talks about how Matt ignores her and how he has great pecs. One day soon though, as the fair and lovely cream sets in and as she notices that I no longer go by Salman but Sal - her and I will be the next Disney Movie couple.

Of course I am still searching and I will always keep searching for the meaning of life, till the end of my life, I can never become a atheist,

Translation: I realize how much of a slave I have become somewhere deep deep deep in the recesses of my mind. I feel this most when mom or dad calls and I hear her voice realizing I wasn't raised to be this retarded. Da-mn it, I feel like two people.... its a fight to the bitter end between Salman and Sal and the battle field is my mind. My parents can only ever know Salman... and Jennifer can only tolerate Sal.

because deep inside I am spiritual and I know there is something out there to believe in.

Translation: I watch way too much X-files.

However I would most likely never go back to become a traditional muslim, for many many reasons, the list is endless.

Translation: Da-mn it, Im really trying here. I've done the whole Maldives thing... I've tried to depict myself as this exciting world traveler and globe trotter to Jennifer. It really hurt when she told me her retired 78 year old Uncle also has a bucket list. If Gwon Wang the Lab tech pays attention to me I am buying Mao Zedong's biography and making the leap from Cultural Muslim to Semi spiritual for show "non brown guy" brown guy to full on Maoist. I already have a secret love for Karaoke....

            I love the cultural comparisons.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

You have come up with complaints about Islam, story's, points and statements over the years which, most of the time can be debunked by a 5 year old.

It doesn't take a scientist to ask scientific questions to experts in science which they have no valid answer for. In the end we are mere humans and only know so much. That's where the word 'faith' comes in to play.

You know what, you are right. I will proudly say that I have become a slave of "life", I am enjoying my life much more, I am spending much more time with family, traveling much more, seeing the world, learning different things from different cultures. I have become a true person, with no burden of pleasing God 5 times a day or in so many other things daily, worrying about every little thing. I am truly free now. Also everyone else has much more respect for me know, compared to 10 years ago when I was a religious, bearded person.

So you can keep your "death cult" ideology up your anus. Your ideology is about death, it has nothing to do with life

are you this big of an idiot? a guy in Pakistan said something about Blasphemy law, and he gets killed brutally while every mullah was praising the killer, you must be truly blind

Your religion calls for anyone to be killed for Apostasy or saying anything against the prophet. That is your religion. Learn something about it
