In Sufism and spiritualism as well as mysticism there is always no need of ijaza from Tariqa. There is Sufism which is not religious or Islámic.

Anyone that is a true admirer of Jalaluddin Rumi and has read his work knows that Jalaluddin Rumi himself has said NO ONE can reach Spiritual Enlightenment without conforming to Shari'ah and the Guidance of Muhammad. A statement like yours can only be used by those who are Impostors pretending to be Sufis and trying to exploit the prestige of Sufim.

Well I want to point out that I'm not a Sufi, but my family are connected and participate in different Sufi schools and traditions like Qadiriyah and Naqshbandiyah and the Sufi writings stress Shari'ah.

But you know those groups like "Gilani" and " Mujadidi'" in Afghanistan, those were Sufis, they were big part of the Mujahideen". So being Sufi does not neceessarily mean being "good"

The big difference between a Sufi and a Wahhabi, is Sufis focus on Mysticism and Spirituality ....and Wahhabis do not. Sufis are a bit more tolerant and and are somewhat more open minded, Wahhabis are not, but in the end they both want Theocracy.

If you want a description, It seems they want something Half way between Modern Turkey and Taliban if that makes sense? That's the best way visualization I can give.

Bear in mind I'm not here as an advocate of Theocracy or Shari'ah, nor am I trying to say Sufis are the solution, just to say that Badlun has no idea what he's talking about.
