Badlun was very explicit in clarifying his position that if that particular act is not considered Sunnath by the mainstream of Muslim religious scholars, his observations/reservations are not valid and the discussion is over for him. But you couldn't prove that the act is not considered Sunnath by the majority of scholars. On the verge of loosing the argument, you resorted to the tactic that your types are the best at using i.e. silencing people by terrorizing them.

Really cunning. Like a querulous *****, you on the one hand are trying to come clean and absolve yourself of the consequences of what you intend to foment, on the other hand are using the same tactic, i.e., continuing with the blame of blasphemy and intending harm and violence.

Yes, you might not do it but you expect as I guess that it can generate enough passion in some violent maniac to do it.

That is called crookedness. Unfortunately, many fanatic Islamists in the West have mastered the art of "taqya" pretending harmlessness and concealing their true intentions but laying in ambush and inflicting the poisonous bite whenever they get the opportunity.

Lol-Another vane try from global Al-Qauda ideological warrior and sleeper-cell manager. The fact is, the survey was very credible and the findings were corroborated by many other surveys later sane the fake ones by Al-Qaueda backers, sponsors, and sympathizers. The efficacy is now proven beyond doubt in having eliminated the top leadership while limiting damage to civilian population.

Lol. The mere smiling picture of Dr. Najibullah invoked the savagely vengeful feelings in you. That speaks of the fanaticism that the likes you have thoroughly internalized.

LOL. Yet he is still engaging in it here???? Sure doesn't seem threatened to the rest of us
Based on authentic sources, this section comprises of multimedia, articles and discussions on the religion of Islam.

His additional quotes that you endorsed are listed above, you know, the ones where the Prophet Mohammad is called "unethical" a "criminal" etc? Apparently you are modifying the Webster Dictionary Definition of Blasphemy by adding the words: "It only doesn't count when insulting Islam, Muslims, or important Muslim icons"

I guess reading for comprehension is lost in violent militant secularists who run for cover when their proxy empires abandon them like a used condom.

But you couldn't prove that the act is not considered Sunnath by the majority of scholars.

Sure I did, I asked you to prove that marrying a woman 25 years my senior is sunna as well retard. You had no jawab but just kept circling the intellectual drain, reaching for things but knowing next to nothing about the subject you were discussing

On the verge of loosing the argument, you resorted to arguments that your types are best at silencing people by terrorizing them.

LOOOOL says the guy who comes from a country that practices the blasphemy laws and was the one to claim here on this very thread that capital punishment is the end all be all prescribed punishment so as to raise the specter of violence all on his own and remind potential violent people of that particular nation states' prescription by law.

Really cunning. Like a querulous *****, you on the one hand are trying to come clean and absolve yourself of the consequences of what you intend to foment, on the other hand are using the same tactic, i.e., continuing with the blame of blasphemy and intending harm and violence.

Lets examine the text book definition as per Webster of what blasphemy (an English Word) is defined as:

      blas·phe·my noun \ˈblas-fə-mē\

: great disrespect shown to God or to something holy

: something said or done that is disrespectful to God or to something holy
So now Toramana in his fist clenching, intellectually defeated rages says that only Muslims have to modify the definition so that it says:

      blas·phe·my noun \ˈblas-fə-mē\

: great disrespect shown to God or to something holy except the Prophet Mohammad, who doesn't count

: something said or done that is disrespectful to God or to something holy except the Prophet Mohammad, who doesn't count
So basically, you and your ilk get to indulge in referring to the Prophet Mohammad as "loose with ethics so as to secure Aisha" and "practicing moral relativism" all day and all night yet somehow now theologists and all others have to edit all existing textbooks to meet your militant terroristic secular version of your definition above??? I used to think you were semi-sane now I think you are over the cliff and all the way insane. I guess losing the debate does that to you. lol.

Yes, you might not do it but that can generate enough passion in some violent maniac for an act of harm.

LOL. You mean you armed the "violent maniac" with your nation state's view of the punishment for blasphemy and used coded language to encourage violence, but somehow you are blaming me for making the link and "reminding" your fellow Pakistanis of their law system? Absurd.

That is called crookedness. Unfortunately, many fanatic Islamists in the West have mastered the art of "taqya" pretending harmlessness and concealing their true intentions but laying in ambush and inflicting the poisonous bite whenever they get the opportunity.

Says the guy that associates with AIRRA, a group well practiced in subterfuge and vanishing think tanks as well as modifying anglo saxon surnames so as to disguise the indentity of the non existent Andersenzai subtribe?

Lol-Another vane try from global Al-Qauda ideological warrior and sleeper-cell manager. The fact is, the survey was very credible and the findings were corroborated by many other surveys later sane the fake ones by Al-Qaueda backers, sponsors, and sympathizers.

Hard time dealing with it huh? Lets reproduce here just for show and tell:

As a matter of fact, the only known survey "on the ground in FATA" at the time was carried out by a "letterhead organisation" named the Aryana Institute for Regional Research and Advocacy whose conclusions can fairly be described as deeply unreliable and dubious. It claimed that 55 per cent of respondents in a survey it carried out in "parts of FATA that are often hit by American drones" (among which it curiously included Parachinar, which has never been hit and whose overwhelmingly Shia population is deeply hostile to the virulently anti-Shia Taliban) did not think that the attacks caused "fear and terror in the common people"; 52 per cent found them "accurate in their strikes"; and 58 per cent did not think they increased anti-Americanism.

The efficacy is now proven beyond doubt in having eliminated the top leadership while limiting damage to civilian population.

Ahhhhh... "limiting damage to the civilian population" that is progress folks- T-mana now acknowledges even "limited damage" whereas before he insisted on "no damage." I guess he still views Momina Bibi, a grandmother in Waziristan, as limited damage:
Rafiq ur Rehman discusses his family's journey from Pakistan to Washington DC, where they will seek answers on Capitol Hill

Lol. The mere smiling picture of Dr. Najibullah invoked the savagely vengeful passion in you. That speaks of the fanaticism that the likes you have thoroughly internalized.

Replace Najibullah with the word "hitler" and you with "jews" . Though I'll add that militant fanaticism is your forte, not mine

What I find strange, just an observance....those who accuse Dr. Barakzai of extremism are themselves extremists.

You are all putting a gun to his head to convert. OH THE IRONY.

With all due respect, I do not know any one of you, however, most of you have a warped understanding of Islam.

I try to fit my understanding of Islam to what the Holy Prophet (saw) has taught us. I don't arbitrarily pick and choose.

Is my understand complete? Of course, not. I will be a student of Islam until I die. However, as my knowledge increases, I will keep adjusting myself to the understanding of the Holy Prophet (saw), instead of invalidating the Holy Prophet (saw) when I can't understand his (saw) wisdom.

Those who are calling Dr. Barakzai a militant are themselves discrediting the Holy Prophet (saw) so they can have their own interpretation and do as they please.

This is what the Jews wanted: just a book without the Prophet (saw).

                          Tamim,

Salamoona. The problem is that they are used to dealing with Lambs.

Their Modus Operandi is this: What they do is they have a corpus of literature, much of it written by Western Polemicists, that they utilize in their daily discussions with Muslims. They hit them on the head with it... sneer... and deride those that adhere to their faith and culture as "backwards" with the real sense that they want to exterminate any semblance of our historical affinity as Pashtuns for our faith.

Admittedly, Muslims are behind in their ability to defend their values, virtues, territorial integrity, and faith.

More often, perhaps, local Muslims just view these guys as nothing more than a nuisance - a minority within a minority within a minority... so they just ignore them.

My approach is to ensure that their voice is not the sole voice to discuss important issues... and I'd like to think I do it with a bit of vigor... perhaps a bit of harshness since I have had to repeat myself so many times... but always with a secure evidence basis.

This enrages them because they are used to controlling the dialogue and singing swan songs so that people all around the world can somehow come to their rescue of a minority within a minority within a minority and give them undue power and respect.

Their methodologies as you can read about in that Al Jazeera article are dubious and they confidently claim to be the representatives of their ethnic groups yet hold ideals, values, and practices far removed from the ground level.

This time they are truly upset because they slipped up... for instance in that moment where they accused the Prophet of following vain desires by rejecing Hamza's daughter on an excuse, they demonstrated their poor understanding of even basic Islamic theology (i.e. that Foster suckled siblings are equal to true siblings in the marriage sense in the Quran).

That defeat was so resounding that Toramana is now doing his best, emitting smelly intellectual flatus and dung balls to try to catch up and save face somehow.

Rest assured that if you go back to the oldest posts and see the sort of way that they describe Islam, the Prophet, Religion in general etc you will be bashful to even read the things they argued for.

Back then, there was no voice to oppose their narrative.

Thankfully though, these discussions have resulted in the firmness of our faith even more than originally because we reviewed our knowledge base and utilized it.

Give me a break. No one denied space to anyone. The simple fact of the matter was that Badlun alleged two key points and documented clear slander. In the modern era such points would be considered libel. These points were namely: 1) The Prophet was opportunistic i.e. his refusal to marry Hamza's daughter ... and by extension ensnared in Aisha's beauty. and 2) That the Prophet used his status and position to procure Aisha in a predatory way.

You then decided to join in and, like a drunk man jumping into a concrete swimming pool with no water -you dived in head first.

I merely pointed out the glaring errors and lack of knowledge.

The convenient explanation about what is Sunnah and what is not Sunnah can provide some playing space to the apologists but traditional religious scholar will simply laugh at such a definition of sunnath.
                              "Fundamentals of Ḥadīth Interpretation 20

appointed to deliver the divine message. Their view is most
absurd and baseless. The Prophet (sws) was appointed not only
to communicate to the world the Book of God but also to purify
the souls and to teach them how to practice the sharī‘ah. His life
is the perfect model for the believers to emulate. It is only by
following his example that we can mould our life in accord with
the religion of Islam and the dictates of the faith."

                              http://www.monthly-renaissance.com/D...ner.aspx?id=71

So what? Where does the definition state your version for the interpretation of sunnah? For instance, if I were to say Admin Khan is the "perfect model to emulate" as a mentor in Computer Science, that does not mean I have now pack up my bags and move to NYC and live in his exact house and so on and so forth. It means following his advice, conducting research on some similar topics as he has etc.

As I stated, the Prophet also married a woman 25 years his senior, and her name is Khadija. Do we see any examples of the canonical scholars advising that all Muslim men must go to Mecca, find a Quraish descendant and marry a woman named Khadija first? etc etc?

You are still grasping for straws. No what this boils down to is a clear goal: Utilization of modern Christian missionary style polemic to try and convince people of some flaw in the Prophet's character to plant seeds of doubt. Instead, you merely strengthened the argument of the religionist and the theologian regarding the superb nature of a man who grieved his first wife for years before his family had him remarried - a true romantic and honorable soul.
