my maternal uncle is 12 yrs older to me... Of all my uncles I am closest to him. His wife is on good terms with me... he wants me to get engaged and marry later... he is concerned probably that i wont make a good match... keeps taking me to places on flimsy excuses to see people lol
our mothers family is more dominant like my cousin who recently passed her dental exams... my uncle checks out any offers which come her way 2! I rememebr some guy proposed to her last year and my aunt (his sister and my aunt) was about 2 say yes then my uncle said as if! it didnt happen as our mothers family basically make all our decsions... anyway the reason my uncle was not keen was that the dude was from Pakistan

those are the potentials that Ive been ntroduces to so far.... thats not 2 say that I am going 2 say yes 2 any of them lol! but these are so far what my uncle and moms family have found or rather suggested would be a better word seeing as we suggest .... there are a few people I am interested in myself.... they are those that family are not involved with

the most awkward moment for me was last yr oh my days... I have a pashtun mate whose like my best buddy.... he is UK born 2 though his family is frm Mardan... he studied medicine with me which is how we met... I used to go 2 his house a lot and he likewise stayed at mines ... hes from luton and I am frm Birmingham... anyway his mom oh my days she tried setting me uo with her relations

she was generally very pretty... her eyes weer extreamly enchanting... blue eyes isnt a big deal ... our family has plenty of them... her eyes were very :D

lol not really
my family obviously 2 date have suggested as you said girls with academic background... thats not 2 say thats a requirement, anyway we go by suggestions like such and such is a nice person etc.... if we ourselves find somebody our family does the rest... obviously though if the family is a bad family we dont go ahead with it

but on the whole they prefer not 2 marry people from "back home" this applies for girls and boys
