  • Why is America considered a bad place for Canadians?

Nearly every Canadian I have asked says that they will never live in America and they prefer Canada over America, why though? I dont get it?

America is so huge with good and bad places

We Canadians neither love nor hate America.

So, Americans should be under no illusions. We're friendly neighbors who share some stuff in common but we're not the same.

Us citizens have a great respect for Canadians but the Canadian don't speak positively about the americans. its my own experience. cannot say for others.

Canadians and Europeans dislike certain aspects of the American culture and society. But simply hating or disliking America in general is very rare.

However, Americans interpret any criticism from non-Americans as hostility and jealousy. This is the reason why I, personally, dislike Americans. They are like peasants.

americans are rude, racist condesending and arrogant. they are ignorant too. they think canadians live on maple syrup or that it's funny to ask canadians whether they live in igloos or how did they manage to find internet and electricity that far to the west.
heck, i have had an afghan american freind who is born and raised in america constantly taunt me about canada being a third world country. you would think an afghan would have an accurate idea of what a third world country might be like.. nope, not an american afghan.

I'd have to agree. Why would anyone in their right mind call themselves Karachi. Unless of course the ego boost extracted in using someone else's account overlays the deeply obvious mistake of choosing that name.
