Pashtun have always been manipulated in the name of religion. I love islam and everything that is taught therein. I would love pashtuns following islam with their rationale mind rather than following everything that a mullah says.

Pashtuns in Pakistan are known for being the people with the strongest love for Islam e.g. in some areas 90% of Tableeghis are Pashtuns.

However Islam is then exploited by Punjabis and the Pakistani regime to manipulate the sentiments of Pashtuns in order to advance the interests of the Pakistani regime.

We Bengalis have a similar problem. Growing up, I was religious and did not know much about history and so by default I thought I should be close to Pakistanis (Punjabis) as they were Muslims, then I interacted with them and saw their true, cruel and racist nature.

Defence.pk is full of Pakistani-wannabe "Bangladeshis" and razakars (pro-Pakistan collaborators) who are less than 5% of Bangladeshis in real life, but these individuals are manipulated by pseudo-Islamic parties to adore Pakistan.

            Shukran ya Masr!!!

Thanks to Egypt for supporting Bangladesh against Pakistani harassment and support for terrorists and war criminals!!

Afg is too poor to become secularized. The process is easier when peoples lives become easier and they lose their humility.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Let me put it this way, no foreigner can be compared to even the dust in the feet of our proud and warrior nation, my nation, Afghanistan.

yes, i agree with you certain extent. But once people start using their own rational mind, they stop being manipultaed.

why would you want to do that?? why not work to make better what we already have? at the end of the day, majority of afghans are muslims and our problem is not islam, it's the misinterpretation of islam.
also, you can't take seculerism and toss it at a nation suffering from religious extremism and expect it to work it's magic. the amount of time and effort that you want to waste on that idea can easily buy you a better state and a brighter future.

Khostai; the only way is by doing what the Soviet Union was trying to do and use brutal force; and even that won't be easy. Otherwise there's no hope especially considering Non-Secularists like myself are very savvy on Secular Methods and we know how to intellectually neutralize them.
