welcome to adolescence. the next few years of your life are going to be excruciatingly painful, confusing, frustrating, eventful and dramatic. at times, you are going to wish you could gauge your own eyes and smash them against a wall. then, one fine day you will wake up with the twinkle in your eyes having faded to the tiniest bits and the realization of the fact chi aur bi duk hai zamane main mohabat ki siva.

Pathan, you are not suppose to shoot her daddy. You are should shoot in the air just to mark your presence there and then leave before they star aiming at your koprrayOriginally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. Another relationship thread? Wow lol.
@OP:I think you should just live the glorious bachelor life like me. Who wouldn't want pretty women in their arms every second? Thinking about marriage at this age will depress you bro. Since your name is playboy, you should live the life of a playboy.

Your parents both speak pashto but you speak Urdu. How did that happen?----------

When I see such threads I want to beat the thread starter to death.
1) You met in a wedding cermony so that should have been of a mutual relative/friend? Right? Contact them via that.
2) You telling me that the girl is 17 she met you in a wedding and she calls you from landline when she gets a chance?
Now mate, you are lying right there. If She met you in a wedding and you guys talked that means her family was liberal enough and she must be having a cellphone. Pashtuns marry at 17 yes and they can afford a cell phone at 17 as well.
3) She is 17 and you too are 17? So this is just an opposite sex attraction at this young age. You are going to forget about it as soon as you get consumed by your university in the city of lights?
4) And yes you think you will shoot the old guy and walk with the girl? It's not a bollywood movie that you watched yesterday with friends while bunking your college. You will shoot him and they will treat you with what? Flowers for your bride and sweets from Dilpasand or Dhaka Sweets for your wedding.
5) And to add further do you know how to use a weapon? (As you are going to kill the guy). Where in Karachi do you live btw?Last edited by Shehbaz Khan; 08-02-2013, 02:39 PM.yao warokay ghwandi baagh ao pa khwa ye seen rawan!

This happens alot when the parents think that their language isn't important and are not able to transfer their culture, heritage and language to the next generation. Happens with every group Sindhis, Punjabis, Pakhtuns and BalochOriginally posted by Manzareh View PostYour parents both speak pashto but you speak Urdu. This is a common practice in all Pashtuns. We do it in Zazi and I know Mangal and Turis do as well. Last year, In our village there were two tre zamon in love with the same girl(who was their tre lor) and one of the boys went and shot his gun off proclaiming the girl as his, after the other boy heard of this, he went and shot the first boy and eventually got engaged to the girl.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostIts common practice among Ghaljis. Usually guys who choose to do this do so to families who are related to them and wont shed blood. Would someone do it to a family from another khel then this can mark the beginning of bloodshed.
Another custom is to snatch the girls tikrey and run away with it. This one is even worse. This usually leads to some violence.
But even if some one just proclaims it without gun shots, it could start a blood feud. Usually its done after engagement, once the families agree, then its done. Doing it before that is naïve and if the girls family has a crazyman, you could end up dead.Last edited by khushal; 08-02-2013, 03:10 PM.
