  • Relation problem ;/ Life of a liberal :(

I am currently living in khi but on my last visit to pekhawar I fell for this bbeeauutiful(and when I say beautiful it means beauuuutiful like seriously) girl whom I met in a marriage ceremony. We talked a few time in the same marriage events and realized we were having mutual feelings .Now I am back in khi and we talk occasionally , whenever she gets a chance then she calls me from her landline phone, I miss her but still somehow we are carrying the relation on . The problem ? I recently told her about my apostasy .At first she didn't believe me but after realizing she is saying that her family ,being die hard muslims, will NEVER accept an apostate ..she wants me to find her a solution. We both are already 17 and engaging a girl at this age is not uncommon in pashtuns(my mom dad married when my dad was 17 and mom younger)..if her dad arranges her relation with somebody then I swear I am going to murder the old guy T_T Nobody messes with my love and gets away ..I am having sleepless nights thinking about the same issue because I am seriously into this girl ,I'd do anything to have her ,we both have mutual feelings .Not like I'd never score any other girl but I'd rather have a bullet through my skull than not having her. I am not even in kpk to make a move if they engage her with somebody .What do I do

Wait what, guys can hook up with girls at weddings in Peshawar?

Also you've got no chance of marrying this girl unless you lie to her family about your beliefs

My mom and dad could speak pashto , doesn't that make me a pashtun ? It's just that mother left us and then we had to speak urdu .
And yes it happened somehow.Somebody from her family married somebody from my uncle's family and I know I can lie but she doesn't want to lie to her family . Seriously , what's wrong with this world ?

One cannot claim to be Pashtun without knowing Pashto language. Quit blaming others. Start learning.

                    Playbuoy,

The key to winning your father in law's heart and the hand of the girl you are in love with is to show STRENGTH.

Here is how to make this work, fool-proof plan.

Remember, Pashtuns, like lions appreciate exhibitions of daring and dashing and of strength.

So what you want to do is this:

                    1. Go to their home during the mid-day gharmanaay khob siesta time.
                    2. Imitate the Wazirs by taking a large topak and stand right at the front door. The key is to sneak over the gate to the house and do this at the real door to the house, not the metal gate. And just start doing dazaay (live firing into the air randomly).
                    3. Then, quickly run back to the high wall and, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, throw your weapon over the wall so you cannot access it.
                    4. Go back and walk into the house.
                    5. Appearance is going to be CRUCIAL. Remember, as a Pashtun Lion you want to be able to be the greatest babar-sher around, having an impact with your looks on everyone in the room - her father, brothers etc. So you need to get an Indian Army Officer uniform and you need to get a patch that saws RAW on it. Sew the patch right on your breast plate so that they can see that. On your back, sew the Yankee Flag. Since you are a liberal artist type, this will show them you are into avante garde art and that you will provide an exciting life for your beloved.
                    6. Proclaim your intentions in Hindi, making sure to use particulars of that dialect to differentiate it from Urdu.
                    7. Make sure you are standing close to your beloved when you give your speech. The male figures may look astonished, but remember, its not anger they are exhibiting, they are reaching for you to hug you.

They will really treat you accordingly and you may hear celebratory gun fire immediately.

Barakzai thats not a Wazir custom. They do this in our village as well and we are ghalji. I have a relative who got married by firing his rifle at the front door

My khanum is Wazir. What they do is that the young man walks in front of the door of a girl he wants to get engaged with. He may not even have kozhden done yet and no one may have gone for kuzyaana yet but he may "mark his territory." This can result in problems if they dont agree, though its rather rare that a male will be this forward

Its common practice among Ghaljis. Usually guys who choose to do this do so to families who are related to them and wont shed blood. Would someone do it to a family from another khel then this can mark the beginning of bloodshed.

Another custom is to snatch the girls tikrey and run away with it. This one is even worse. This usually leads to some violence.

Then there is no problem. If you would do anything, simply become a Muslim. Problem solved.

Regarding the topak thing, that's a custom in my area too though it is definitely not done as much as it was a few decades ago.
