What's your question in the other thread?

    Bukhari: vol. 6, hadith 509, p. 477; book 61

    Narrated Zaid-bin-Thabit:

Abu Bakr As-Siddiq sent for me when the people of Yama-ma had been killed (i.e. a number of the prophets companions who fought against Musailama). (I went to him) and found Umar bin Al-Khattab sitting with him. Abu Bakr then said to me, "Umar has come to me and said: `Casualties were heavy among the Qurra of the Qur'an (ie those who knew the Qur'an by heart) on the day of the battle of Yama-ma, and I am afraid that more heavy casualties may take place among the Qurra on other battle fields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an may be lost. Therefore I suggest that you (Abu Bakr) order that the Qur'an be collected'. I said to Umar, `How can you do something Allah's Apostle did not do?' Umar said, `By Allah, that is a good project'. Umar kept on urging me to accept his proposal till Allah opened my chest (persuaded me) for it and I began to realise the good idea which Umar had realised.

    Bukhari: vol. 6, hadith 510, pp. 478-479; book 61

    Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of Sham and the people of Iraq were Waging war to conquer Arminya and Adharbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their (the people of Sham and Iraq) differences in the recitation of the Qur'an, so he said to 'Uthman, "O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Quran) as Jews and the Christians did before." So 'Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, "Send us the manuscripts of the Qur'an so that we may compile the Qur'anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you." Hafsa sent it to 'Uthman. 'Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin AzZubair, Said bin Al-As and 'AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. 'Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." They did so, and when they had written many copies, 'Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. 'Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur'anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt. Said bin Thabit added, "A Verse from Surat Ahzab was missed by me when we copied the Qur'an and I used to hear Allah's Apostle reciting it. So we searched for it and found it with Khuzaima bin Thabit Al-Ansari. (That Verse was): 'Among the Believers are men who have been true in their covenant with Allah.' (33.23)

The Prophet did want to commit suicide. You have to realize that it was during the beginning of the revelation. The Prophet(PBUH) wasnt sure exactly who he was seeing (Gabriel).

Gabriel stopped coming to the prophet for a period anywhere between a few weeks to 2.5 years. This scared him, because it made him confused to the point where he considered ending his life. But, as we all know, it never happened. The break of revelations was to allow the Prophet (PBUH) to have time to himself, to sink in what was just revealed to him.

To think the Prophet expected to know right away, to accept and understand everything quick and clear especially for a human (non-angel), is ignorant. To go from a trading business, to having an angel squeezing your life out of you; calling you a messenger, isn't a smooth transaction. not for any of Adam's children, that is.

          did you read the posts?

the prophet never did want to commit suicide and i already post more than one proof and Simsitxdog couldnt deny the fact but he would rather claim its not proven true.lol its been proven this is been told by alzuhri not aisha ra and if you are not going to believe anything of this, then why would you deny the prophet hadith? i post it in my last post in the thread.

          Volume 4, Book 54, Number 454:
          Narrated 'Aisha:
That she asked the Prophet , 'Have you encountered a day harder than the day of the battle) of Uhud?" The Prophet replied, "Your tribes have troubled me a lot, and the worse trouble was the trouble on the day of 'Aqaba when I presented myself to Ibn 'Abd-Yalail bin 'Abd-Kulal and he did not respond to my demand. So I departed, overwhelmed with excessive sorrow, and proceeded on, and could not relax till I found myself at Qarnath-Tha-alib where I lifted my head towards the sky to see a cloud shading me unexpectedly. I looked up and saw Gabriel in it. He called me saying, 'Allah has heard your people's saying to you, and what they have replied back to you, Allah has sent the Angel of the Mountains to you so that you may order him to do whatever you wish to these people.' The Angel of the Mountains called and greeted me, and then said, "O Muhammad! Order what you wish. If you like, I will let Al-Akh-Shabain (i.e. two mountains)fall on them." The Prophet said, "No but I hope that Allah will let them beget children who will worship Allah Alone, and will worship None besides Him."

why did the prophet didnt talk about this story if its TRUE? this show it never did happen and the prophet hard days were against taif ppl.

well lets read the hadith and i will tell you this is alzuhri saying.

Waraqa said, "This is the same Namus (i.e., Gabriel, the Angel who keeps the secrets) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Apostle asked, "Will they turn me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said: "Never did a man come with something similar to what you have brought but was treated with hostility. If I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while and the Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains and every time he went up the top of a mountain in order to throw himself down, Gabriel would appear before him and say, "O Muhammad! You are indeed Allah's Apostle in truth" whereupon his heart would become quiet and he would calm down and would return home. And whenever the period of the coming of the inspiration used to become long, he would do as before, but when he used to reach the top of a mountain, Gabriel would appear before him and say to him what he had said before. (Ibn 'Abbas said regarding the meaning of: 'He it is that Cleaves the daybreak (from the darkness)' (6.96) that Al-Asbah. means the light of the sun duri
and here its disgree to the truth. how come the prophet would still want to throw him self saw when Gabriel appear the first time and said he is the prophet of allah? wasnt one time enough to stop and understand he is the prophet?

          • Do you see what you are doing? Your denying a Hadith show you could make yourself secure in your beliefs. Are you picking and choosing what hadiths you wanna belief? You are not showing any proof, your just saying an opinion. I'm reading from Bukhari, which said that he wanted to jump, but was stopped

Your acting as if The Prophet, was some son of god. Where he already knew all along that he was a Prophet. That separated him from most of the messengers send by god: Muhammad (PBUH) did not know he was a prophet until forty years of age.

The numerous attempts is only proof that he was human: The only child of Abdullah and Aminah; Quraishi from the Abdulmuttalib clan

(I am not trying to throw any insults)

i didnt deny the hadith, i just told you there is apart is from alzuhri Report/Communiqué (blagh) its when he say فيما بلغنا here its start
the Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains and every time he went up the top of a mountain in order to

and alzuhri blagh is weak and if he become alone in it (like no others said it in thier hadiths only him) his blagh is considered weak.

if you are not believing me its your choice but you should ask any imam who knows The science of Hadith.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
