How come your not in your country then? what are you doing in Canada going for your runs and blasting bollywood - 'my country' as if!! LMAO like you even give a damn about Afghanistan, the best thing that ever happend to you was leaving the country your not welcoming al-arab going to, you wouldnt go back and live there even if you could - you sing the same song that every immigrant sings "oh my sweet watan" more like quick get me married so i can get my indefinate stay here plzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!

you welcome and speak nicely to AMERICAN SOLDIERS (MrDresden), but when a Muslim wants to visit Afghanistan your all of a sudden hostile. your a BIGOT and a confused attention seaker - i guess you express some Tajik version of melmastia, because pashtuns dont act like this nor speak it.

Canada should deport you back to were you came from. You wannabe.

              Soldat-Amir:

I must admit that I admire your reply but I do not know if you mean it in a sarcastic way. Although we have clear differences in ideology (you being an atheist and I being an Muslim and not in favour of atheism or secularism) but maybe I was too harsh in judging you. In fact I think you are an more honourable person than DaZahromJaam, Karachi etc. who do hide their real views and wish death upon other people. I do not even that unless I talk about evil invadors or dictators. In our culture it is considered the most rude insult and also against Almighty Allah (swt).

For that I give you respect although some may view this negatively. But this does not mean I agree with your views at all but as a person I have more respect for you than those I have mentioned and others like AbbasinAfghan etc.

              Brother Jamaludeen:

My two Pashtun friends have family in Kabul but one is originally from Jalalabad. But this visit will only take place if the safety is good otherwise I would not risk anything because of the situation I am in (Wife, soon children, Insha'Allah, studies etc.)

But I am used to these enviroments because I visit Iraq several times a year. This is the same, kidnappings, suspicion from the puppet government towards Sunnis in general (especially when living abroad) etc. A month ago, when I visited Iraq, two Pakistani engineers were kidnapped in daylight in Baghdad. As far as I know they have not been seen alive since.

When I travel in Arab countries I always travel in traditional Arab clothes/or sometimes Western clothes (very rare).

In Afghanistan I would blend with the public and wear local clothes out of respect. Otherwise I would just be an guest of my two Pashtun friends and their families if their families allow me to. But this must be discussed closely with them, my family and then make an decision if the trip is safe. The situation in Kashmir and Himalaya is nothing in comparison with the situation in Iraq/Afghanistan.

Manzareh I don't know who stole your bra but it wasnt me so calm down. In Canada I look after my siblings so my parents can look after my country. As soon as my sister in law comes here I will go back and join my parents. Thank you for asking. And mind you, I love Canada. I wouldn't be who I am if it hadn't been for Canada. In Canada Muslims are not denied service in stores and their deceased are not covered in pork. That is alot than one can say about the place where you happened.
By the way, you are not welcome in my country either. Excuse me now while i blast me some Bollywood music. Eat your heart out, bitch.

Hold on, i thought you lived in pashtunkhwa for years, either you were born in Pashtunkhwa and moved to England (which this post woudnt make sense) OR you were born in England and then lived in Pashtunkhwa for years (Which would mean you were lying in your past posts) which one is it Soldat - or do you have a severe disorder in lying about yourself all the time because i swear most of the things you say never match up.

If you do plan on coming dont forget to take a packet of Naswar with you, wear a pakol and walk with your hands behind your back. You will fit in nicely.

I would advice you not to visit Afghanistan for safety reasons. Since your young and have kids on the way and a young wife to care for, I suggest you put your trip on hold for a while and see how the situation unfolds. wait until 2014 at least, by then you can travel with your kids inshallah. I am not saying you can't visit now, there was already one person from azerbaijan who went to kabul and returned safely. so its possible to visit and have a great time. Your situation is a little different though so make decision wisely. For places to visit which are safe, I will suggest, Herat in western Afghanistan, it has great historical monuments and many graves of probably your ancestors, such khwaja Abdullah Ansari (the pir of Herat). You can also visit the country side and mountains and for that I would suggest to go Badakhshan in spring time. It very green and beautiful and you can see the arab nomads travelling from Badakhshan to kunduz.

Some of the replies in this threads are dispecable, is it right to judge a person before you know them? shame on you for being judgemental cowards and an insult to pashtana's melmastia.

al_arab,bro you are very welcome in Afghanistan and I am sure you will have great time.
