      @karachi
Most of the urduspeakers vote for MQM and strongely dislike pashtuns. Urduspeakers like you are tiny minority.

Luffy, have you ever lived in Karachi? It's obviously a stereotype that all Urdu's support MQM, just like the stereotype that all Pashtuns support Taliban.

^The reality is both stereotypes are wrong

There are many Urduspeakers who do not support any party at all and stay away from politics all together.

But I think Imran khan is a different deal, I can bet once Imran khan comes to karachi, you will see how many urdu speakers will support him.

^ my mom's family also came from that part of UP, that area was a strong afghan hold in India, my grand father could also speak Dari/Pashto

Though that said, Muhajirs in karachi are not one people, meaning they came from all over India like Bihar, Bengal, south india etc... so their cultural back grounds are different, depending on the regions of India they came from, obviously only very few would be of actual Afghan descent, perhaps only the ones coming from west UP and Delhi regions

is that the same as feeling ants in ur pants from crabs?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

also mohajir, sindhi , punjabis are jealous to pashtuns, because we have a light skin and they are dark brown, so they want to be like us, they are just jealous and they have INFERIORITY COMPLEX for some of them i think...

                      pashtuns are fair
                      punjabis are dark

My friend..this is incorrect..Punjabis I am sure are not jealous of Pashtuns at all..there are many light skinned Punjabis too..and I have met many dark skinned pashtuns also...though agreed pashtuns have greater percentage of lighter skinned people..The differences in colour are due to many different reasons including geographical location, mixing of different races, lifestyles of people etc. I am sure pashtuns and their descendents would start turning brown over time, if they just had shorts on all day and were working in fields of Punjab or India for 6 to 8 hours everyday. The reason Pakistan has become screwed up is because it was built on very bad foundations..built on hatred of your fellow countrymen just because of different religions..

Other then MQM people, i dont know any urdu speaker guy who will hate pashtuns. Hate comes from (politics), the urdu speakers who are not involved in politics ( trust me there are many) do not hate any one in the country

Infact traditionally among the Urduspeakers and other desi communities, pashtuns have had positive stereotypes of the things you mentioned like: brave, hospitable, imaan-daar, hospitable.....

Only in recent times because of politics things have messed up.

"hate comes from politics"- think about 1947 - it was hate. Majority of Muslims who moved from India to pakistan (like the places your family came from) I think they moved voluntarily from India but all those non-Muslims they were forced to leave their homes in Pakistan. Most of them did not want to leave Pakistan.
Do any of you ever think of that? Doubt it.

Rules of partition stated there would be no population exchange.
I know that many Muslims in pakistan protected non-Muslims, However most of the protectors would say "this is now Pakistan you must leave" - as there was no alternative for non-muslims. In India the story was different as most people asked Muslims not to go to Pakistan. Yet of course under the circumstances they had to go to Pakistan especially from East Punjab.

Hundreds of thousands of countless people died and moved from their ancestral homes.

That is your beautiful history of Pakistan I am afraid - whether any of you know it or admit it or not.

And your father came from Pakistan , is'nt? your family history is that of your father.
When some one ask you about your origin then you should mention your father's family/tribe.

The way partition happend was indeed a really big tragedy, God knows how many people got killed, some estimates put it over a million, it was probably the biggest migration of people in human history and the unfortunate thing was many families on both sides got cut from the other side, My father actually found his long lost cousins living in Delhi almost after 50 years, through the internet, my father's side family got cut in half because of partition and they never saw each other after wards
