White people are equally as racist to polish people who are also white, they hate anybody who's not ethnically english, so why would pashtuns deny pakistan because of that when they would still be hated?
One reason people do deny being called pakistani is because of the behavior of punjabis over here, why would I wanna be labelled with them?
Its interesting that you concluded from my post that Punjabis are bad people. I dont hate Punjabi people.
Punjabi simply dont know much about pashtuns so they use stereotypes related to pashtuns like they think that pashtuns are brave, hospitable, imaan-daar, honest, hospitable, deep in friendship etc or they also think that pashtuns are clowns, low IQ, gay, wahabi, harsh on women etc... It doesnt mean when you interact with them they would call you with such titles. On the whole they are civilized people and will have good communication with you.
The people in pakistan who really hate Pashtuns are urduspeakers of karachi, i have come across many of them. They really dislike pashtuns.
I dont think that they are all bad, nut some of them, especially punjabis from karachi,
also mohajir, sindhi , punjabis are jealous to pashtuns, because we have a light skin and they are dark brown, so they want to be like us, they are just jealous and they have INFERIORITY COMPLEX for some of them i think...
Is it true that punjabis have an inferiority complex with pashtuns ?
My father told me this :/
They may appreciate your fair skin, they do say "pathan goray chitay hote hain" ya "neeli anko wala pathan"...but believe me they do not have inferiority complex with pashtuns. Your great history bashan can not impose your superiority on them...In punjab, a pashtun works as labourer or watchman or driver...most of which are illiterate. thats why they are very surprised to come across a sharp educated pashtun...tell me how can a punjabi would be in inferiority complex from his watchman who is pashtun?

You are called Paki because for english people you and adam are british pakistani..your family came to UK from pakistan...and because your family was pakistani thats why they easily got british nationality, afghans are not lucky in this case because their country is not member of common wealth.

Thats not true, you must be talking about MQM
Other then MQM people, i dont know any urdu speaker guy who will hate pashtuns. Hate comes from (politics), the urdu speakers who are not involved in politics ( trust me there are many) do not hate any one in the country
Infact traditionally among the Urduspeakers and other desi communities, pashtuns have had positive stereotypes of the things you mentioned like: brave, hospitable, imaan-daar, hospitable.....
Only in recent times because of politics things have messed up.
