Since Halva is Arabic (from Levantine which includes Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon) and you hate everything Arabic I very much doubt that.

Yemeni honey is very good and healthy.

I love Tamarisk and Spand honey - they are defenitely among the two best ones!
Specially when the Tamarisks grow on oversalted soil their honey becomes dark and creamy like milkchocolate - and so aromatic.

Concerning Halva - the best defenitly is made of walnut , apricot kernel or almond kernel.

I agree, all are found in the Levant (Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine) also.

We also have a halva that consists of dates (world famous Iraqi dates)

We but finely stonned dates finely chopped, walnuts, almonds, cinnamon and allspice and icing sugar for dusting.

                          Very delicous.

Do you have a similar one in Armenia, Arevapasht?

No my friend, We havn'T , we do not use dates at all, as they are not typical here.
Halva is made mostly by nuts, wheat, sesam, sunflower here. Other dry fruit snacks include Churchkhel ( nuts or dry fruits in dried fruit jice) and ttu lavash( dried fruit juice)

You can see them on the pic here, they are deffused on whole Caucasus:

For those who don't know, a Tamarisk is that one:

                              And this is Spand:
