Very true. Punjabi and Pashtun are not races but ethnicity. Racially they overlap in certain regions. Punjabis mostly have Indic characteristics and Pashtuns mostly Central Asian but its not uncommon to find both in these two communities.

Who could have played Gabbar Singh better than a Pashtun?

Darmindara is one of the most famous Hindi actors among Pashtuns. Some Jatts are very similar in physical features to Pashtuns. Yet there are Jatts who are very Indic looking.

I am not saying you are wrong, she could be from there, but name doesn't mean anything, even a bangali or sri lankan might have a afghan name, but that doesn't mean they are afghan. also if you are correct, then i would say atleast 20-30% of people in the cities of punjab and even karachi are related to afghans in some form atleast, I have studied in schools in 3 cities in pakistan and a lot of people look like that in schools, especially people coming from wealthier/respected familes. But again like i said before, even in the wealthier familes of villages(chaudaries), you will find people like that

That is true because elite families want to marry the best. I have also noticed that the rich in Pakistan are fairer than others. I guess you can call it natural selection, passing on the genes by being more desirable. Wealthy men in our regions want to marry trophy wives. This was and is the case in Arab countries who married California blondes and bring in girls from places like Syria and Lebanon.

              well not its not

The Indian Punjab was divided in 1966 with the formation of the new states of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh as well as the current state of Punjab. Punjab is the only state in India with a majority Sikh population.[3]

              so now its punjab 50,362 km2 (19,444.9 sq mi) + haryana 44,212 km2 (17,070.3 sq mi) + himachal pradesh 55,673 km2 (21,495.5 sq mi)

thats a total of 150,247 sq km /58,010.7 sqmi

              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Himachal_Pradesh

plus you also have DELHI 1483 km2 (573 sq mi)
              who's

plus chandigarh which is ad 114 km2 (44 sq mi) Chandigarh (Punjabi ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ Hindi: चण्डीगढ़) is a union territory

now west punjab ( pakistan) is larger of the two but the not 10 times infact its not even double far short of it sorry its only just 21,000 sq mi or 55,000 sq km thats close to just 1/4 more additional areas thats not much of a difference eg: Belarus & Nepal

              Belarus

I had Hindu Punjabi friends from India and most were very fair skinned and had colored eyes. They came from the warrior caste Kshatriya and are also very respectable believers of honor and pride.

This is Hindu Punjabi Tej Sapru movie actor

Most of the Hindu Punjabis from Kshatriya caste look like that.

                              pretty easy to tell apart

                              tajik

                              pashtun

                              tajik

                              pashtun

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

In terms of physical appearances Tajiks are generally short in height, darker, wider noses, different skull shape and large mouths.

Pashtuns I can recognize from sharp, high noses, long, thin faces, more Caucasoid appearance in general and higher stature. Any person that has traveled to Kabul and then to a Pashtun dominated city like Peshawar or Quetta will tell you people's appearances dramatically change from a majority Tajik population to a Pashtun one.
