Brainwashed Afghans?

Why is there so many threads suggesting that Pakthunkhwa Pakthuns are brainwashed etc. Like Afghans are of such superior intellect that they are saved from the purge of brainwashing because of wearing tinfoil hats. ??!!?

If Pakthunkhwa Pakthuns are brainwashed...then so are Afghans.

The afghan side thinks that KP are brainwashed and the KP side thinks Afghans are brainwashed. I guess the British plan is working thanks to all of us.

Most Pashtuns on the west of the Durrand Line think of Pashtun reunification as part of the natural order of things and as proud Afghans, they will never accept the Durrand Line.

On the other hand, most Pashtuns in KP (who have no notion of Afghan history and study history from the perspectives of Bengal and Uttar Pradesh) want to continue to serve a country where they represent 8% of the population (in the last census, only 8% of Pakistanis wrote down Pashto as their mother tongue).

Afzal Khan lala said in one of his speeches that before the division of Pashtuns, they used to rule huge territories and were the most powerful people in the region. However, ever since the Pashtuns were been broken into four pieces, not a single prominent Pashtun has been able to leave his mark on history and instead, the social, political and economic conditions of Pashtuns continue to deteriorate day by day. He said that the weaker and less developed half of Punjab is ruling the Pashtuns of KP and their aim is to take over Kabul as well. This is the reality of Khushal Khan's descendants. He spent his whole life fighting the Mughals and his sons are now the willing slaves of the remnants of the Mughal empire.

Punjab throws these KP Pashtuns a bone and they wag their tails in gratitude. "Look at the bounties that Pakistan has given us...". Those people have no idea of what a nation is and are confused, misled and indeed, brainwashed.

Pashtun unity is the only factor that will bring lasting peace to the region as a whole. However, it's very unfortunate to accept that the biggest hurdle for Pashtun unity is the KP Pashtun mindset. They would rather serve than rule.

^ i agree with some of what youv written however i think your slightly biased towords yourself and i dont agree with certain things youve said, you say pashtuns in KP rather serve than rule..and pashtuns in afghanistan dont? tell me if pashtuns in afghanistan would rather rule then why are there so many non pashtuns in your parliment, why is the ruling and most respected language dari and not pashto.

Pashtuns in KP say afghans are brainwashed because afghanistanis think pashto dominance is widespread in the whole of afghansitan because you have a national song in pashto. pashtuns dont rule afghansitan because 50% of the country dont agree, i mean if i was a tajik,uzbek,hazara why would i yeild to pashtuns or submit to them??

KP pashtuns say afghan pashtuns are brainwashed because they dont know whether they are pashtun or afghan, afghan is uniting and sharing your race with persians, pashtun however isnt.

- reunification? do you actually believe that, if thats the case then why do afghans go on like they are superior, come to KP you wont find them saying a khattack is better than a yousufzai weras afghans like to think there better than each other because there from kandahar or barakzai or whatever. if you believe in reunification then why are you more closer to dari peoples, you love their culture, there language there styles everything how is that reunification when the only thing your unified with is persians which ofcourse is the definition of "proud afghans" what is an afghan? is an afghan solely a pashtun? your brainwashed if you think so.

Most of the Pashtun politician are shadow governors and other government officials of the Taliban. When they were in power, Pashto was the first language and a must learn to other minorities.

Manzerah really isn't wrong at all. They are Afghans who don't consider KP Pashtuns to be their fellow Pashtuns. It's awful, and we should not let those British beat us. It seems they won though

The point of the thread was simple. To show that everyone is prejudice in their views believing only they know the 'truth', it was to demonstrate that irrational hate will only further divide Pashtuns rather than to unite. There is an abundance of so called 'Phatan' threads which are derogatory, but you seem to have missed those purposefully or unintentionally.
